I have encounter some dark being standing infront of my bed just waiting there. It did not move a bit until I have gotten tired and went to sleep. This dark being has ruined my childhood, making me afraid of every dark corner I see. It has scarred me for 7 years and I think it is time for me to know what is this being look like not just a shadow in pitch black. This has changed my life a lot. I am now 14 almost 15 and I, for the same reason still scared of the dark corners. I wish I can encounter it again and tell it how it ruin my childhood making me to go to sleep only when the light is on. Thanks for reading.

Normally I try to avoid the celebrity trainwreck, but on the news, it seems that almost every day, there is some sensationalist story about how yet another female actress or musician has gone off the rails.

It is certainly in the media remit to cover what is happening in the world, and for better or worse that now includes celebrity, yet it does seem to me that the manner in which the press targets women is far more hurtful and insipid than the way it deals with male celebrities.

Appearance (is she anorexic, is she showing cellulite, is she pregnant)
Relationship status (does she have a new boyfriend, what about the old one)
Drug addiction (is she using/clean/in rehab/at risk)

the list trails goes on.

Does the media target women in a more malicious and invasive way than it targets men?

Does it delight in "Bringing Down Women"?

My dog has a history of allergys yeasterday.. i took him to the vet to get a steroid shot which he gets every so offten.. but this time he got a diffrent reaction.... He was alot more aggressive towards other dogs.. and he could not control his bladder.. he is very house trained... hes never done this before and im very worried... He peed right in front of me and my husband TWICE!! so now i think it might of been the shot.... can anyone with any advice or experiance please help me with this subject... Thank you for your time and concern....

P.S. if breed and age matters then

Hes 4 yrs old english setter/siberian husky mix.

okay. when I was taken to the hospital to get stiches; I was shakeing like a leaf (maybe it was a little worse then a leaf).
and they made me put this dissolvable tablet under my tongue to stop the shakes.

my sister has been taking depakote for 28 years .her life has taking a bad turn the last 3 months and she is one step away from being homeless.I am on ssi so i cant help with her meds,,food and a place to stay is all i can offer.
we have gone to the city/state of connecticut for help but it will take weeks they said.so my ?? is..
anyone no how we can get her meds ?a doctor?or any help fast..we are as broke as a person can get..thanks a lot everyone..

This guy needs a job and decides to apply at the zoo. As it happened, their star attraction, a gorilla, had passed away the night before and they had carefully preserved his hide.

They tell this guy that they'll pay him well if he would dress up in the gorillas skin and pretend to be the gorilla so people will keep coming to the zoo.

Well, the guy has his doubts, but he needs the money, so he puts on the skin and goes out into the cage.

The people all cheer to see him. He plays up to the audience and they just eat it up. This isn't so bad, he thinks, and he starts really putting on a show, jumping around, beating his chest and roaring, swinging around.

During one acrobatic attempt, though, he loses his balance and crashes through some safety netting, landing square in the middle of the lion cage! As he lies there stunned, the lion roars.

He's terrified and starts screaming, "Help, Help, Help!"

The lion races over to him, places his paws on his chest and hisses, "Shut up or we'll BOTH lose our jobs!"

Puhleese help me on this one, electronic engineers out there!

Vpk=1V, Vrms = √2 V, Rsourcevoltage = 50Ω (bummer#1) L=56mH, Rinductor = 56Ω(bummer#2), C=100nF, Rload=120Ω

Find: impedance, circulating current (thats Ipk or Irms??? :-S), and VOLTAGES across EACH COMPONENT (megabummer) using theoretical as well as complex analysis.

I know internal resistances can be summed with load as series resistance, but what about the Icirculating (pk or rms???), and VOLTAGE? Do i find voltage across(L+Rinductor) or what?

{lease solve the entire question with steps, if that's not too much to ask. I'm sure there are people who love such questions and are raring to go.

ive been using laxatives for about a year, ive tryed everything to heaps of fibre, excersise, heaps of water. if i just take normal fibre it doesnt help me i need to use sumthin that will work and that is not going to affect me in the long run. any sujestions??

I don't believe in the existence of God (s) and I am against the idea of religions in all forms. However, I also think their are a lot of holes in the evolution argument. But I do believe through science, man can will eventually explain everything.

I tend to live my life to the best of my abilities, helping people whenever I can and developing my body and mind through martial arts.

I am also dedicated to my fiancé who I love dearly, which I am looking forward to starting a family with.

I prefer to rely on myself, and only ask for help when I know a task is too difficult.

I bought a new Samsung 22'' LCD monitor as an external monitor of my laptop which has ATI mobile X300 graphics card, using D-sub cord. The problem is I can observe a subtle shadow extending from the right of each pixel. I have tried to adjust the cord and ports and the resolution but no help. 1680x1050 is the maximum resolution that can be supported by ATI X300. The LCD supports 75MHz refresh rate but my card can only afford 60 at this resolution. I wonder if this happens because of my old graphics card. And is it solvable? Thank you!
