Jews dont celebrate Christmas !

FYI:

While Messianics describe Messianic Judaism as being Jewish, Jewish denominations, Jewish groups, national Jewish organizations, and others reject this classification and regard these groups as Christian

Oh good grief, I'm Jewish so let me answer this one.

First: "Messianic Jews" are **not** Jewish. Period. They're Christians pretending to be Jewish.

Now, as to your real question. It has to do with several things. First, many Jews feel uncomfortable at this time of year, especially if they have kids. Kids see other people with Christmas trees (which, by the way, I think are lovely) and don't understand why they can't have one. So their parents "give in", as it were, and they have one. As adults, these children then feel that it's a part of their lives--which it is, at that point--and continue to have one.

Second, even if they don't have kids, many Jews are secularized enough that they don't see it as a contradiction--having a tree and celebrating Christmas are two separate and distinct things in their minds.

Third, some Jews are just uncomfortable at this time of year and see it as easier to celebrate both.

Fourth, some Jews are in interfaith relationships where their partner is Christian/Catholic.

They are not supposed to, and anyone who does is not a good Jew. The most important part of the Jewish religion is the belief in one God. From the Jewish point of view, Christians do not believe in one God and are praying (at least in part) to a man. The only reasonable explanation is a Jew who is married to a non-Jew and the spouse is celebrating Christmas, and the Jewish person is just going along with it as part of the family, not wanting to offend the in-laws by not showing up, and not really "celebrating" Christmas.

I have gone to many holiday/"Christmas" parties at work, but the purpose was to have fun, get drunk, and eat free food, not to actually celebrate Christmas, so something like that doesn't count.

since people like labels, we are true communist messianic zionists and do not celebrate christmas which is a pagan holiday the catholics stole b/c they wanted to celebrate something at this time of year and since the semiramis and tammuz type festivals were a hit with the people (a mother/son worship festival) why not get the people to celebrate catholic style in christs mass,..the jews that do not celebrate probably already know what we have already written and they do not believe that yeshua, also known as jesus of nazareth, is their messiah which he is,..and the jews that do are most likely on the capitalist christian pre-trib bandwagon and should not,..

Some Jews are orthodox, and they celebrate Hannukah at around Christmas time. The Jews that arent orthodox (Reform Jews), are ok with celebrating Christmas

Just like in the Christian religion there are different types of Jewish religions. Such as Catholics don't believe that Mary and Joseph got married, or that after Jesus was born, that Mary and Joseph then consumated their marriage and had more children...but most Christians accept what the bible says about it, that they did marry and had children after Jesus was born. Catholics think and demand that Mary remained a virgin unto her death!!! Christians that accept her marriage to Joseph MUST love her more because they don't demand that she remain a virgin her entire life in order for us to love and honor her. So, Orthodox Jews are the strictest about adherring to the original Jewish Religion. Also, I just have to add here that most Catholics don't know about or if they do...they deny it....that the Catholic Church had the horrible Crusades where they tortured and killed hundreds (or more) people in the name of their religion!!

because they are messianic jews.. they believe in Christ being the Messiah... others don't and await the true Messiah. Therefore, those who don't wouldn't celebrate CHRISTmas.
