Can Anyone tell me how a boogeyman looks like?

I have encounter some dark being standing infront of my bed just waiting there. It did not move a bit until I have gotten tired and went to sleep. This dark being has ruined my childhood, making me afraid of every dark corner I see. It has scarred me for 7 years and I think it is time for me to know what is this being look like not just a shadow in pitch black. This has changed my life a lot. I am now 14 almost 15 and I, for the same reason still scared of the dark corners. I wish I can encounter it again and tell it how it ruin my childhood making me to go to sleep only when the light is on. Thanks for reading.

I think any more the boogie man is more of a personal image. We each have our own, Yours is the dark figure at the foot of your bed, mine is a knife wielding guy in a trench coat and a hat that kept stabbing me in my sleep, for someone else it could be a cannibalistic clown from the circus of doom, who knows.

Obviously this has gotten to you but you need to let it go or face it and if you see it again get out of bed and go after it. That's what I'd do anyway.

dude, i used to dream about ghosts, until about the age of 14, when i decided to put an end to the fear. i decided that the next time i dreamed about a ghost, i would take control of the dream and banish the ghost. it worked! now, if i have a (rare) dream that involves a ghost, it can only do what i allow it to do.

He's fake.... you can imagine him to be anything you want... like to look like a unicorn with mystical powers that shoots rainbows out his butt... who cares... its all up to you.
