These past few months it has been taking me forever to get my car to start. I would turn the ignition but nothing happens. All my lights will come on and the doors will lock but car just will not start. I would have to keep turning the ignition and after a few min. it will finally start up. But, then theres times that I will get in and it will fire right up. These past 2 days have been crazy. Yesterday, I went to start it and got a half of a start and then it completely died on me and I couldn't get it restarted at all. I had somebody give me a jump and it was fine for the rest of the day. Then today the same thing happened. My friend gave me a jump, it started up then I tried to drive it and it would stall. We had to jump it 3x. The battery is only a year old and was told that couldn't be the alt. cause the car still ran when the cable was disconected and all my lights still come on. Does this sound like a bad starter? And why will it stall after it was jumped? My cars is a 96 t-bird.

America is the most armed civilian population in the world, with 90 guns per 100 people! Why does America with it's predominently christian population have no faith in other christians? What is the need for so many guns with civilians?

My friend is a practicing Wiccan and I want to include her and her family in my holiday celebrations. Is it appropriate to send then a holiday greeting card that is non-Christian and include a personal note wishing her and her family a Blessed Yule? What is the proper terminology to use? Can I give them a small gift? I want to surprise them with an appropriate holiday greeting to show support and understanding of their faith.

why? well he carries a picture of his sister (who is married and has a child - says he) in his wallet. I also been to his place and he has a picture of his sister framed on his tv facing the bed.
I think thats creepy, isn't it? I mean who would wanna c your sister in the bedroom hanging on your nightstand and on the tv when you bring girls over? Is he a liar or just creepy?

I had my ears repierced this afternoon. I haven't worn earrings in years, but the orignal sets of piercings hadn't completely closed up. The re-piercing didn't hurt very much, either, and the holes are clean and dry this evening. (I bought titanium earrings -- WONDERFUL for people with allergies like mine.)

My question is: should I wait the 6 to 8 weeks suggested for first time piercings to change earrings? Or would it be OK to change earrings a little sooner since this is the second time? Thanks for your help!

this is almost comical. my amazing boyfriend is the world's worst christmas celebrator. honestly, we're both not religious and we don't really appreciate the commercial aspect of the holidays, but we do want to buy our close family some nice things. i personally want to really treat my mother since she has REALLY helped us out this year and she has had a rough time. my boyfriend's mom is awesome as well and i want to get her something great too. problem is, my boyfriend won't help me come up with anything. everything i suggest, he shoots down and he refuses to talk about it. i think he basically wants me to come up with something on my own, but he isn't helping mel i don't want to put my mom first, but i am not going to put her second either. should i just go out and buy his mom want i want to get her, or should i try to get him to do it?
is it common for guys to be into the holidays less? for the record, i hate the the shopping part!

JOHN 3:2-3,7
2 This one came to him in the night and said to him: “Rabbi, we know that you as a teacher have come from God; for no one can perform these signs that you perform unless God is with him.” 3 In answer Jesus said to him: “Most truly I say to you, Unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
7 Do not marvel because I told you, YOU people must be born again.

this is a commandment straight from the horses mouth. you guys are so big on following the commandments of jesus. why do you skip this one? : NOTICE in verse 7... 'YOU MUST be born again"
it is looked down upon to even mention the words born again around a group of witnesses. why?

I married in Miami and have been separated from my husband for more than 2 years and would like a divorce. I now live in Orlando and I don't know where he is and it is unlikely that he will consent to the divorce anyway. How long and how much money would it take to make it happen?

Only problem is, I'm horrible at history.

Hitler, of course. But that's about all I got. Help, please?

Thanks. =]

ok so i posted a question the other day and got alot of negative feedback because i'm trying to adopt a dog (i found a shelter willing to work with us(thanks to those who posted on my lastQ)) and need to keep it otside for a few hours ( with adequete food, shelter, and fencing) when guests who don't like or can't be around dogs visit. Isn't more humane to pu them outside for a few hours then to keep them shut up in a room? also looking for other ideas of what i could do in these situations... id hate to have my friends stop visiting b/c they cant be around or dont like dogs, but id hate to have a dog left out during these visits and many have made it clear if i need to put it outside i shouldnt adopt. i really dont agree with them but am trying to see all possible solutions. can i just have my dog around those who dont like them ( in my home)? and what about those who really cant be around them? how can i leave the dog inside and not affect them?
