Yes there is!! I think that being monogamous is a choice ppl make. Woman or man.. they can both do it.. but only some actually chose to do it.
My hubby, his father cheated on his mother countless of time, left, and was just not a good father or husband. He seen/felt what cheating does to a family. So he has CHOSEN to marry and be monogamous! Unfortunately not all man think like him. Alot of them think its OK to cheat bc they are man... and society seems to think that its impossible to be with only one person.
Its pitiful!

Well Hello,

I am a monogamous man, I have been with my wife and only my wife from the day we met 22 years ago. We have had our share of hard of ups and downs... mostly ups! Most import to me were the vows I took and my parents modeling, my father modeled faithfulness, he is still married to my mom 47 years, have gone by.
Yes we are out there but unfortunately too many boys are being raised in homes with out fathers, no one was there for them and their mothers, why should be. I wish I had an answer for you... Just don't give up and look at the mans family, it can show you a lot!

Hmph.... Never met a faithful man? That speaks for the type of men you meet then.

There is more than one man with unbreakable faith to his woman ~ even if it is not mutual.

Perhaps if you would have been raised around women they could have helped you learn how to identify such a man as we're out here just as you are.

Sadie, to tell you the truth, no! Men are able to procreate from the time they reach pueberty until the day they die, while men stop being able to have children by the time they reach their mid-40s. With that said, it is in men's biological instincts to spread as much seed as possible to ensure the survival of the human race. So naturally, men are not monogamous, but neither are women. Women have a bigger propensity to cheat as demonstrated in the stone age where women would have sex with other men while her "husband" was in the wild hunting buffalos. Her having children by other men ensured her survival in case her husband didn't make it back. And if he did, she put the baby on him. Hmmm... sounds like modern western times... haha

Yes there are monogamous men out there. I found one. I am simply amazed because I truly didn't think there were any out there either. I guess it has a lot to do with not going out with younger men. Stick to the older ones who have been around the block and got all their jollies already and are ready to settle down and be monogamous.

Yes, I have never cheated on a girl, and in fact have been cheated on twice myself. They are out there but cheating females are making a man of my type a dying breed. I probably never will cheat because I know how bad it hurts to be cheated on, but it sure doesn't make me very serious about relationships any more. If you have a cheater on your hands just cut them out and hope for better luck next time, but there are signs that you can see before hand, like how he talks and acts around other women, how flirty he is, things like that, so just try to be on the lookout.

I'm sorry I haven't always been faithful so I can't say i really know the answer. Most of my male friends have also cheated at some point. But I also know lots of women who've cheated so it's not a man's thing.

Yeah, there is. You just have to find the right type of guy and in the right environment. Perhaps where and who you were raised around has to do with how much men repsect their wives around there.
I know quite a few faithful men.

I think most men are monogamous. Its just that we loose interest quickly. Call it serial monogamy.
I takes a woman to love one and screw another at the same time.

There are and it might be time for you to get some new friends and try dating a different type of guy (I guess you can't change your family). Statistically speaking you are due to meet a few ;.)
