nope but because they only look at what you do in superbowls thats the only reason him and irvin made the HALL. there are quite few in the hall that shouldn't be there yet some like art monk, ray guy, ralph wilson, and ken stabler keep getting the shaft. shoot Ken Anderson had better #'s than Aikman and he's yet to get into the hall TD-INT 197-160(beat aikman), Yards 32,838( 110 yards from aikman), and QB Rating 81.9 (aikman's was 81.6)

Aikman...3 Super Bowl rings...

He was surrounded by a great cast of talent, but all Super Bowl QB's are. The Cowboys players of the 90's would tell you his leadership was crucial to their success.

Bledsoe never could win the Super Bowl on his own account. It's great that he did get a Super Bowl ring with NE in '01.

I liked Bledsoe myself. I was glad to see him come to Dallas and I wanted to see him continue to play. The reason that he never did do all that well in Dallas was because he didn't have the offensive line that Troy had in Dallas, and he really need that kind of quality up front. And I'm really not sure he had the same type of leadership qualities Aikman had.

If the Cowboys had improved the offensive line instead of spending all their money on T.O. and the transition to the 3-4, the Cowboys may have made a deep run in the playoffs in '05 and maybe even a Super Bowl.

I was there when they blew out the Eagles in '05. That was such a **sweet** game.

Of course he should- Stats are just one way that person can deserve being in the Hall of Fame. Aikman deserves it because of his excellent leadership abilities. He lead that team to three Super Bowl victories, and many playoff wins. Most impressive is that he lead a team that was dismal in the beginning of his career to the become the team of the 90's.
