A "clear" conscience??? Yes. As long as I've done my best to help someone else, spent time in prayer with God and told my friends and family that I love them, I do sleep with a clear conscience. That's not to say that I don't worry about my friends or family which will sometimes cause a restless night. But my conscience is clear.

Every night I soak up in a bubble bath and then I 'wash off' all the worries, I forgive one by one, I ask for forgiveness and forgive myself. Forgiveness is necessary on a daily basis. Then I start to focus on all the good things I had/experienced that day and that is when I enter the 'being thankful mode'. This might sound crazy, but it is a sure way to hop into bed totally relaxed. What do you think my conscience is like by the time I get into bed? All I need then is God's protection. And off course to continue worshipping Him until I fall asleep.

I know in my heart, I have done the best I can with the resources I have. I do have a clear conscience, and I work hard to know that I have always done the best with the choices I have to make. I have faith that the decisions I have made have been made with a clear heart.

I say in my most confident voice, "That you go to sleep with a clear conscience."
How was that?

Yes, but I wonder if everyone else does. Even more disquieting is that some don't seem to have a conscience.

If something is bothering my conscience, I will need to resolve it before sleeping well.

Always try to!! You never know if your gonna wake up the next morning or not. That is why my hubby and i, even after 15 years of marriage, still don't go to bed mad at each other! Can't think of one time we have ever went to sleep without apologizing to each other.

Almost all of the time yes, I believe it's because I have good morals.
My morals are base on not going against or upsetting my maker God.

Not like I did anything wrong, but I get nightmares of the days events, sometimes. I am bothered by them greatly. It's the wrong done to me, or the world.
