Recently, I overheard a radio interview where the International Ice Hockey Federation is compiling an all-time international hockey team. They plan on polling over 100 hockey writers to come up with a list that will take into account a player's international career and professional exploits. That being said, for the next few months these writers will sell us hockey fans on a team that will have the usual suspects: Wayne Gretzky, Slava Fetisov, Martin Brodeur, yada, yada, yada.

The question here is this: isn't it kind of pointless to announce an all-time team now, when it will be altered in twenty-five years? Better yet, what good is this IIHF team if it doesn't include pre-World War 2 players, any members of team USA (especially 1960, 1980, and 2002), or countries other than the former Soviet Union, Canada, Sweden, and Finland?

What are some ideas to make this team legit? Any other thoughts?

I wouldn't. It just doesn't seem right to live forever.

I hope this is in the right section.

I know my friend's parents who were married 40 years plus, and then died within years of each other.

Their son and daughter eventually got married, and both got divorced.

Why is it that this generation can't hold a marriage. And I find it funny why this son and daughter got divorced, because they usually say if a parent's marriage lasted so will their future generations? Can anyone prove me wrong or right?

My Grandmother passed away this week. My mom and I were very close to her. I want to give my mom a heartfelt present that would remind her of the good times all three of us spent together. I don't have any videos and I only have a few photos of all of us together. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My baby is 7 months old with asthma and I want to know if I should buy a cool mist humidifier to help him breath at night, cause he always wakes up coughing weather I do the nebulizer before bed or not. Will this help him? Also, what store can I get a small, cute, and inexpensive one for him? AND one more thing, If you have an experience with asthmatic children, can you give me ideas, clues, or any type of advice for me to help him or understand what is going on with him and stuff, cause I am not sure about it since I never experienced this with anyone or myself?

Thanks so much!

I was divorced before my son was born and now I started dating again. I am with someone whom mihgt be my long term partner right now, so it is time to introduce him to my son. Ideally, my son had a bio father who loves him very much, and a step father who is a great friend and good influence to him. I seem to be relaxed about the relationship between my son and my ex, and I know I need work on the relationship between my son and the potential step father. I am not sure how to do it. Any advise?

Thank you for calling 217-2962. If you wish to speak to Tim, push 1 on your touch tone phone now. If you wish to speak to Lynn, push 2 on your touch tone phone now. If you have a wrong number, push 3 on your touch tone phone now. All of this button pushing doesn't do anything, but it is a good way to work off anger, and it makes us feel like we have a big time phone system.
