Classic country, bluegrass, and traditional gospel is the only kind of music I can stand to listen to.

The somewhat lesser-known emo/post-industrial/hardcore bands. Though my favorite is still My Chemical Romance, so theyre very well known. But the rest of the bands I like, not that many people have heard of. Either that, or theyre on Top 40 radio stations. Its kind of a mix of both.

My personal collection includes classical music from early Gregorian chants to Aaron Copeland, blues, jazz, ragtime, popular tunes from the late 1800's to the 1920's., Big Band, pre rock and roll vocal standards, pre rock and roll r&b, soul, r&b , psychedelic, blue-eyed soul, Motown, old school rap & hip hop, reggae, Cajun, Latin, heavy metal, classic rock and roll, hard rock, doo wop, country/western from the 1920's through the 80's, bluegrass, folk music, alternative, a little opera, Broadway show tunes,etc.. I have musical selections in almost every genre of music there is.
I'd rather listen to any of the above than 99% of what they call music today.
