after 90 days we get paid 5 vacation days. i was told after a year your vacation starts over. i put in my request to take vacation 2 weeks ago, it got approved, but now they are saying that i dont have paid vacation yet. That they go by a year after your 90 days probation period is up. In the hand book it says after you work a continual year is when your vacation starts. I just feel like i am being takened advantage of. If i am who can i report it to?

i am the stay at home parent and i cook all the meals and when she tries the kids hate it, every thanksgiving which my wife wants to cook she makes things the kids hate except the turkey, last year she put sour cream in the mashed potatos, it was awful, i am not looking forward to this again, what can i do

The Unites States government has issued a recall on all cars and trucks that have a headlight dimmer switch on the turn signal switch. The purpose for this is to cut the traffic accidents at night by 90%. Apparently that the 90% that they plan to cut is from blonds, because they keep getting their foot stuck in the steering wheel.

In the state of California, can previous convictions be disclosed to the jury, during the course of a trial?

I can see the argument of relevance of previous convictions againts prejudicing the jury's decision, but just want to know if they can be used.

Specifically, I am thinking of a case of felony assault, where the accused was convicted of a similar felony six years ago, which was, consequently, reduced to a misdemeanor.
