My mother-in-law is a very old, sickly, pious, annoying woman who loves to guilt trip us into visiting her frequently with our toddler daughter (even though she lives 4 hours away) by saying we don't love her. I want to find a nice Christmas gift for her that will make her happy and maybe get her to lay off with the whining for more visits! I thought of giving her a quilt I'm making out of my daughter's old baby clothes--but I was making it for ME and I selfishly want to keep it! I'm torn! Part of me wants to give it to her and say, "See? If we didn't care about you I wouldn't give this to you! Now leave us alone!" but the other part of me wants the quilt. :( What should I give her?

I know that this is a weird question but hopefully someone out there can fill me in. I know of someone who recently made a major life decison by somehow "throwing sheepskins" and based on the way they landed or something like that, this person made their decision b/c the result was that the path this person was going down was "predicted" to be the wrong one. Has anyone ever heard of this and if so, can you please explain this to me? I just don't understand. Thanks!

Hi! about 4 weeks ago I plucked almost half of both the top of my eyebrows but now I think they're starting 2 grow yey but i was just wondering is there anything I can do to make the growth faster? and I plucked the top only once and the hair were thick and dark so would they all grow back and would they be as thick as before? Thanks!

Nothing illeagel or inappropriate, just clearly unnessessary for the child and expensive. Lets pretend it is a body lotion.

A minor comes in a store and buys a lotion that is $70. the child later comes back with parent and the parent has a fit with the store clerk because a no refund policy.

Whos right and whos wrong? the parent or the store clerk?

You work with one of your best friends, but only on Saturday's.
You make $6.50 and hour

OR

would you choose to work at KFC. You would work with your brother and his friend (which all three of us would like), and you are guarunteed a job by just filling out an application, because the managers love your brother. You could possibly start out at $7 per hour. You would like working there, but it would mean quitting a job that you've only been at for 3 weeks.

Both of my children have chores that need done around the house. For my olderst sons birthday my husband and I got him a gerbel. For the past week the gerbel has been missing. When I asked my son where the thing went he told me god took it. This really upset me because the way he said it really worried my husband and I. Then just an hour ago i was vaccuming the dining room and the bag blew up because somehing inside of it was too big to fit. When it blew up dusy particles and odd chunky stuff went flying in the air. Thats when I realized it was teh gerbel that "god took" what should I do?? How do I handle this as aparet?

I just found out my cat has FIV and I was wondering how it happened? I have had her for around 10 years and shes around 11 years old now. She is deaf and was adopted and has been an inside cat for most of her life but more of an outside cat now. Im just wondering if its my fault she has FIV? She was healthy when I adopted her.

Hi, I'm thrown off by the natural log in this problem.

Determine the convergence or divergence of the sequence with the given nth term. If the sequence converges, find its limit.

sequence = ln n^1/2 divided by n

How do I go about solving this problem? It's an even problem, so I don't have an answer to work toward.

I don't want you to talk me out of it, or tell me I'm stupid, or that I'll regret it. You're not my mother, and she'll be enough to handle once I tell her. First I need the facts so I can support my argument.
Facts:
I'm 17.
I live in Ohio, Franklin county area.
Parents are married, all that stuff. I don't really know what else you need to know.

I just can't do it anymore. My ADHD is so bad, and I honestly just don't care anymore. I have a good job, and once everything gets settled, I'm picking up another. I know it's not going to be easy. I'm not naive. School just isn't important to me anymore, and it's at the bottom of my priorities.
