Is it just me or do a lot of the Lifetime movies have Canadian actors? Lots of Canadian accents!?

You'll hear Canadian accents in a lot of series, too, because Montreal is referred to as Hollywood North. Many movies and series are filmed in Canada, so it makes sense to use local actors in many roles. Watch end credits, which will list where a series or film is filmed.
