I know that this is a weird question but hopefully someone out there can fill me in. I know of someone who recently made a major life decison by somehow "throwing sheepskins" and based on the way they landed or something like that, this person made their decision b/c the result was that the path this person was going down was "predicted" to be the wrong one. Has anyone ever heard of this and if so, can you please explain this to me? I just don't understand. Thanks!

Sorry, I forgot who it was - God told him to do something and he asked God to prove to him that it was a message from God. He placed a sheepskin (fleece) in front of his tent at night and said to God: "If it's really you, then let the normal dew fall on the ground around the fleece but not on the fleece." In the morning, the fleece was dry. The next night, just to be sure, he did it again only this time asked that the fleece be wet with dew and the ground dry - again it was so.
