So I'm going to be getting a tattoo and the significance of it to me is all tied up in the phrase "no regrets"...It's going to be on the side of my lower back, so not that visible. Even so though, I don't want just anyone to be able to read and understand it right away. This is why (and I'm a bilingual Canadian, so I'm fluent in french too) I want to translate it to french.

The thing is, it doesn't translate exactly as I'd like it...I want to use the word "aucun" to replace no, so I'd say "aucun regret", but that means "no regret" without an s....there's no right way to translate "no regrets" using the word "aucun". Anyways, when I read the phrase "aucun regrets", in my mind I automatically think "no regrets", but I know this is wrong. I still like it though.

So, here's the question: do you think it's ok to sacrifice proper grammer in a translation for meaning, or should grammar always be respected, espcially since a tattoo's permanent??

Just helping a friend to survey. Now, given a chance of a lifetime, which one would u choose to learn? You might want to indicate ur reason for that preference.

Whenever you answer this question remember that there are 4 dogs to every cat…think about it.

The idea that a police officer can just walk up and ask if a person is legal or not will never happen.
Years ago a jewelery store was robbed in Phoenix, AZ. A policeman heard the report. He saw a man in a car and stopped him. He found the stolen jewelery in the car. He arrested the man. In court the officer was asked why he stopped the man. The office said; He was a black man in a swank neighborhood. The judge dismissed the charge and releasd to man. That is the precedent that is prevailing.
The Supreme Court will ask. "Will that solve the problem? If not it is harrassment. "Cease and dewsist or face a federal grand Jury indictment. Low class p[oliticians will see the message or their wannabe political career will come to a screaching halt.
All wannbe elected ploiticians are suggesting solutions that cannot happen. No fence. No deportation etal. Wannbe president. Come up with something that "can" happen to solve the problem.

While I do not agree that women should be forced to do anything, Are the cultures that only allow women to only show their hands and other things like that the ones that know a womens worth the most? Is it because they know the power that women have the reason they make them hide themselves?

I need some real cheap meal ideals to feed myself and three kids ages 10, 9 and 3 off of less than one hundred dollars over the next 7 days for breakfast and dinner (plus buy gas). A company made a mistake and took too much money from my checking account which overdrew my account. However, they still have not given the money back and w/ all the fees I incurred I will proably never see my grocery money again! My kids have beenn complaing already of being hungry b/c I have to limit food to make sure it can streach. I had to cut out sending school lunches this week, send them to school for breakfast. I am suppose to get food stamps and I got approved but the case worker said she will get around to it when she feels like it. Got super cheap meal ideals?

He is 18 almost 19, i am 17 and will be 18 by christmas. Our baby is due in 5 weeks, right before christmas. our baby was definately unplanned. i was on birth control, but i had some anitbiotics for my wisdom teeth surgery and now we're pregnant. he was very understanding and supportive. my family adores him. his family likes me. everyone is excited about the baby. especially my boyfriend. im a little scared still. anyways i plan on getting him another engagement ring. his fingers have gotten bigger since he has been working and he cant even put it on anymore. mine still fit perfectly even at 35 weeks preg. anyways i want to get him something special for christmas. something for him from me. not something to do with our daughter. i want him to know i didnt forget him in all the comotion, our babys birth, my birthday, xmas.

what would you find special? i want it to say thanks for loving me and taking care of me and i love you and look forward to our future together.

I would appreciate honest answers from women out there. I dated a girl seriously for 4 years, and in that time, I could not get myself to get married. I wanted to be with her, but simply didnt want to be married. After many false promises (yes, I know, it was bad) of marriage, she finally left me and 5 months later she married an old friend of hers. When I finally felt ready to get married, she said it was too late. I was hurt and am still very hurt, she is now married for 7 months. She has called me many times since and told me she simply wanted to "be a wife" and "be married." She said she still loves me so much, made a bad choice, and wants to be with me, but the reality is she is married. I tell her to divorce, and she said she wants to give her marriage "a shot." Will she make herself happy? Is there a chance she finally will just be so unhappy that she gets divorced? I dont want to wait around for her, its just I love her and dont know what to do based on what she tells me

Anyone taken it? I am on it now for depression and anxiety - worrying uncontrollably. Anyone have symptoms similar? Did lexapro help with this problem? How long did it take? What is your life like now?

P.S. I just wanted an idea of people's personal experiences with the medicine.. (don't need to address the questions but I would like some input if anyone has any)

Just seeing what if any correlations there are. I know it's a small sample! And if you're not in a profession yet, put down what you hope to do. And homemaking definitely counts!

I live in a small town in Cameron, South Carolina. Anyways I always have had my favorit son. He was the captain of the football team, a active member in his church and volunteers at the local nursing home. Everything was fine until yeasterday. He decided to come out of the closet. When this happened I did the only rational thing any father would do. I grabed him and forced him into a strip club. I then said to him, "look at this until your stright." Anyways I think that cured but I am still worried. What if he lied to me. I know that I might have to hurt him or disown him if he is still one of them. Anyways I was wondering how can I make sure he wasn't lying to me so I won't have to take such drastic messures.

My fiance and I are considering getting an African Gray parrot. He grew up with one, but it recently died of a heart attack/stroke as it was very overweight. Does anyone have any suggestions of good books to read? Or just suggestions in general? We do know of a very reputable breeder. But I just have experience with parakeets, and I didn't train them.
