He is 18 almost 19, i am 17 and will be 18 by christmas. Our baby is due in 5 weeks, right before christmas. our baby was definately unplanned. i was on birth control, but i had some anitbiotics for my wisdom teeth surgery and now we're pregnant. he was very understanding and supportive. my family adores him. his family likes me. everyone is excited about the baby. especially my boyfriend. im a little scared still. anyways i plan on getting him another engagement ring. his fingers have gotten bigger since he has been working and he cant even put it on anymore. mine still fit perfectly even at 35 weeks preg. anyways i want to get him something special for christmas. something for him from me. not something to do with our daughter. i want him to know i didnt forget him in all the comotion, our babys birth, my birthday, xmas.

what would you find special? i want it to say thanks for loving me and taking care of me and i love you and look forward to our future together.

I am kinda having the same issue with my husand... he's nineteen and were about 3 weeks from having our son. I want to get him something nice... my mom told me to get him something he can enjoy, something that he would not even think about getting himself because of the baby... like my husband loves video games and he doesn't have a system anymore because he gave his to his younger brothers to make room for other things we need. So, I was thinking about getting him a wii, and thats something he has that is his and he wants. But, I know your b/f may like other things, but tap into his child like side and see about getting him something he can have fun with a relax doing. Because in a few weeks stress levels are gonna run HIGH!!!

I would engrave the ring with a message.
Or i would go to a graft store or even a dollar store and buy an album and stickers or cute little things you can glue and cut and paste in the album next to pictures of you 2 or things you have kept as memories like a dry rose he gave you or a match box from a restaurant he took you to on your 1st date and in the 1st page write him a letter of exactly how you feel and in detail how much you love him and appreciate him the small details are what matter the most... And the following pages just pick your favorite pics of you 2 together or on a date pics with meaning and glue or stick cute little stickers around the pic and be very creative with messages for him in the album. And leave a couple of pages blank so you can continue it with photos or the baby’s birth certificate or her foot prints the blank pages represent your future together. And later fill them with time.

Once he sees and reads everything you had to say and how you feel and that you took the time to make it he will realize once again why he loves you and why he needs you because you acknowledge him and love him...

It has way more meaning than anything you can buy him its actually priceless...

I personally like to plan events for my husband~ This Christmas I'm planning a trip to see a play "Miracle of Christmas" & dinner @ a nice restaurant.

Last Christmas, I planned a trip to Longwood Gardens. I like to show my husband that I love him by spending quality time with him.

Also, think about what your boyfriend likes~ watches, shirts, sweaters, electronics, boots, jackets, music, movies, etc...

btw~ you can get the engagement ring stretched~ no need to buy a new one.

A share of stock if he doesn't have any investments yet. Maybe in a company he is fond of. A first investment on your life together.
