Most lawyers will take such a case but be forewarned.....if they think the case is not a clear win win, they will probably refuse to take it.
Then they want a sizable retainer up front and get paid by the hour.
Good luck (and watch out for the sharks)

Any lawyer can enter an agreement to do a case on a contingency basis. "We don't get paid unless you get paid." However, you need to look very closely at the contract before signing up for one of these deals and be aware that this CANNOT be done in certain types of cases. For example, criminal cases and divorce cases cannot be done on a contingency basis. Personal injury lawyers will almost always take a case based on contingency. . .but again, be sure to read what you're signing up for. The fact is that most of these lawyers will do whatever they can to settle the case before trial because it is not worth their time and money they have to put out up front to take the case to trial. Good luck.

Generally those types of attorneys are attorney that deal with probate issues and lawsuits. You might let your fingers do the walking through the yellow pages or go to other lawyers that and ask them to refer you to someone.

Most personal injury lawyers work this way. If it isn't a personal injury case, you will not likely find that scenario.

when you call an attorney's office, just tell them you would like to know if they require a retainer fee, or is there an agreement they offer where they get paid if they win your case... if they don't offer either, then ask them do they know some one who does.. usually they do! Good luck!

I don't know but if you find one, let me know. Most lawyers take the money up front unless they are representing you "pro bono" which is free to begin with. Go to a legal clinic to begin with.

Most lawyers that work this way are for automobile accidents. Otherwise, you have to pay the fee up front.

These are mostly "ambulance chasers". They take personal injury cases. 33% is usually their fee upon winning.
