I am in love with my ex girlfriend but I broke up with her because she deserves better which I honestly mean. I dont have the time for a relationship now and I feel terrible. Not just a line. She said she understood but she loves me and she thinks I do deserve her. But she still understands where I'm coming from. I could tell she was really hurt...Did I even do the right thing?

OK so me & my partner and I have been together for 4 months now. I love them to death and dont want to be with anyone else. I found out that they had slpet with like 20 people before me 12 guys and the rest women . She claims to be gay but now Im a bit confused since she slept with 12 men. I recently got in a collision with a firetruck.. I know what most of you are thinking " How did you hit a fire truck?!! Its so loud and big!!"

I told the officer what happened.
It was during traffic hour, I could not see the firetruck, and I couldn't hear it either. There were 2 lanes, I was on the left lane.
I told them I couldn't see or hear the firetruck.
My light was green, the fire truck's light was red.

They sent a letter home saying i am at 100% fault.


I spoke to the investigator who was VERY rude.
My defense: I had a green light, so I proceeded, the firetruck had a red light, and the fire truck did not stop/slow down at the red light, and just kept going, which caused the collision

The investigator ignored the fact the fire truck had a red light and kept trying to make me feel bad and say that i hit a fire truck, a big loud fire truck. She kept ignoring that it had a red light and should have slowed down.

Opinions? Thanks

Met a guy a couple of weeks ago. Had first date this past Friday (4 days ago). It was amazing. Supposed to be only meeting for drinks after work. That led to dinner, which led to dessert at another restaurant. Great conversation, lots of flirting, laughing and fun. The evening ended several hours later. We said goodbye with no mention of getting together again. We've emailed back and forth this week, during which we talked about our first date and I expressed interest in getting together again. He hasn't said anything either way. What's the next step? I'm assuming that HE should initiate requesting the second date. If he doesn't, should I assume he's not interested in me? Do you agree?

Mum sends Dave off to the market to buy a few things and Mabel tags along as usual. After investing in a new bucket, a straw broom, a couple of live chickens and a poddy calf, Dave is struggling home, with the calf baulking and the chickens flapping and the bucket clanking - all in different directions.

As they pass through a bit of bush Mabel says, "Aw gee, Dave, I'm scared!"

Dave yanks the calf and recovers a chicken and says, "Yeah! What of, Mabel?"

"Aw gee, you might take advantage of me in this lonely bush!" says Mabel.

"Come off it, Mabel," says Dave, grabbing the bucket. "Look how busy I am with this lot!"

Quick as a flash, Mabel says, "But couldn't you put the chickens down on the ground with the bucket on top of them, and push the broom into the ground and tie the calf to it?"

My husband of 1 month and I are moving back to my hometown in a month. We've been discussing where we wanted to live for a while now, and being there makes the most sense for us. Both he and I found good jobs there, we already have land to build a home on, I have a large family very close by, and the town supports the community lifestyle we want for our future children. However, his mother is hurt. She wants us closer to her. How can we assure her that she will be part of our lives? We feel terrible about this, but it is the right thing for our lives. How can I help him feel less guilty? I feel sad for him that his excitement about a new job and moving out of the large city we live in now is dampered by this. And I feel sad for her that her son won't be close by and that she is jealous of the relationship my family will have with us.
