Get those other dogs AWAY from the b*tch in labor and her pups or you could end up with dead puppies and very injured dogs.

You HAVE to keep the mother separate from ANY other dogs when she is giving birth and while she is nursing her puppies.

You also should have been a responsible pet owner and had her spayed so she wouldn't have puppies. Do it as soon as the pups are weaned.

Depends on the dog.

I take in momma strays and my dogs and the fosters are still around mommas and babies. Momma will let you know what she will tolerate. It does help in my situation if I have them for a few days before they whelp but sometimes that doesn't happen and so it still takes momma a few days to get used to mine and that they will not hurt anyone. I think once the pups start moving the mommas like having others for the pups to pursue.

If you were a true dog lover you would not be an irresponsible breeder!

Thanks for NOT doing the research about breeding and for bringing more dogs into this world when there are already TOO many in shelters!

Shame on you!
