where as we only think we know the concept. is it possible it is ingrained along with our physical commonalities?

Yes, I truly believe this. God created them, breathed life into them, and they know one another. Yes, yes, yes!

The problem with the question is that it contains the assumption that there IS a god to 'know'. That's an assumption based on facts not in evidence, so unfortunately it cannot be answered sensibly.

Hmm? Interesting question. I would tend to say "yes", based on animal behaviour. Consider the wolf (dogs, coyotes, foxes, et al) howling at the moon. Monkey tribes dance in circles by moonlight, and so on. But remember: because people feed and groom cats, cats think we are their Mommies!
So, it depends upon your perspective.

I think God knows his animals...there is scripture that speaks of dogs guarding the gates of heaven...I researched when my son's dog deceased..so I could honestly tell him that dogs go to heavens gates.
