quickrete makes a resurfacer that is very good its around $20 in home depot and lowes, it gets spreadout very thin but no matter what you use the concrete has to be very clean it would be good to use a power washer and follow the directions on the resurfacer. you might also have to prep your porch with a bonding agent which you can also get at those stores.

As stated, use a resurfacer made for this job. Many cements will crack and seperate when used for thin coats. Clean and use a bonding agent.
