I got engaged not to long ago to my boyfriend. We are both 21 and I'm going to graduate college next spring so I feel it's time for me to get married plus I've been with him for two years and I love him. I told my cousin about it and told her not to tell anyone because we wanted to annouce it at this party we were planning on having in a couple of weeks but she told her mom who told mine's and she was furious and it wasn't because I didn't tell her but because she thinks I shouldn't marry him because he dropped out of college and is working at a gas station making $8 an hour and doesn't think he is going to be able to provide for me since she expects me to quit working when I have kids but I'm not planning on it. She doesn't want me to work with kids because she says she knows how hard it is and she had to work since my dad didn't make enough money. She said I should marry someone more well off, but I don't want to and I think she's being shallow and stupid! What is her problem?

I have just recently gotten a puppy that had been neglected and she has a few drops of dried hot wax from lilke a candle or something on her nose. n e one know how i can get it out of her fur? plz b/c she is black and the wax is pink and looks bad.

There are some bad cops, just like there are bad people in all professions but the vast majority are hard working and honest. Local police help to keep our society civil. There are a lot of black on black murders in Philly. There are a lot of domestic disputes that result in murder. Each has it's own problems and solutions. But shoot a cop? Ohmygod! Unless we want anarchy, citizens should be outraged. What do you think?

When my 3 month old daughter needs her diaper changed I always wash her bottom with water (I actually hold her under the faucet) and then apply Mustela Bebe Hydrant (lotion).

I have a friend who has the Mustela Cleansing Milk and she says that you don't need to use water just use the Cleansing Milk (of course she wipes away poo if it is there).
Do you think this cleans enough? Isn't that just like rubbing the pee around mixed with the cleansing milk instead of actually washing it off?

If you've seen this show, I'm interested in hearing your opinions about the techniques that are used to test the participants. Do you feel they are stringent enough? Are they too tough? Does repeated success in the tests give an indication or proof of psychic ability?

Finally, for those who are more aligned with parapsychological research, which skills do you feel are being tested? Does the presence of the testing moderators give an advantage to specific psychic abilities in the tests?

do you mind if the daycare workers hug and kiss your children. i mean like the infants and the 1's and 2's. i work in a daycare with the 1 year olds and some of those children spend between 8 and 12 hours in the center and we are always picking up and hugging and kissing... would thatbother you as a parent

I got back with my boyfriend 4 weeks ago after a 2 month break up. He wanted to try again and go SLOW. I am very emotionally attached to him, but it seems that he isn't where I am just yet. He knows that I am a few steps ahead of him. He claims he is working on it. He told me hes half way there to committing 100% to me. We are in a relationship and I didn't think its suppose to be this complicated. I was advised to back off a little bit, but what does that mean? During a conversation with another mom in my playgroup the other day, this is what she said to me: "Sometimes you're the most overprotective mom I know, you don't even want your son playing in a house with a gun." My son is 4 years old, and I do make a point to ask about guns in the houses we go to play at. I've never refused to play at a house that has a gun in it if it is locked away in a safe, or has a trigger lock (which so far has applied to everyone's house). I feel that I'm just being a proactive protective parent, and I've never considered that this would be overprotective.

So here are my questions:
1. Is this overprotective?
2. Should I be offended?
3. Should I say something to her?

About 2 months ago, a guy approached me, gave me his number, and called/texted me a lot. He would hang out with me on campus and give me these extra long hugs. I also heard that he was telling his friends that he was interested in me. His friends even asked me about him, called me his girl, etc. These past 2 weeks have been weird. One day while eating lunch, we were flirting like usual and he goes flirting with another girl and leaves me alone. Pissed that he might be a player, I still give him a hug goodbye and leave. I avoid him for a whole week but during that week is when I found out he was interested in me. So, I figured I'd give him another chance. I saw him last week, he flirted with me like usual and asked me to give him a massage. BUT he doesn't call anymore, only replies to my texts when I text him first, and hasn't replied to my facebook message when he does to everyone else. I don't want to play games & am very confused. I think I just want to move on completely. Thoughts?
