There are some bad cops, just like there are bad people in all professions but the vast majority are hard working and honest. Local police help to keep our society civil. There are a lot of black on black murders in Philly. There are a lot of domestic disputes that result in murder. Each has it's own problems and solutions. But shoot a cop? Ohmygod! Unless we want anarchy, citizens should be outraged. What do you think?

people should be outraged at murder period, murdering a police officer is wrong because they're suppose to maintain order. it seems that most people lack respect of authority in this country. i'm not saying that you must bow down, but there is an indifference that happens everywhere. that's really sad and it'll be one of the downfalls of this country if something isn't done about. whoever is convicted of this crime should be given the death penalty, that's all there is to it.

A lot of cops need to show more respect and stop abusing their powers. Cops are the only ones keeping racism alive. if all cops weren't racist they would do something about racism and eliminate it from the rest of the community.
if a cop approached two men who may have been involved in a crime and one was white and the other black or hispanic or arab or indian or any other race thats not white the white man wouldn't get arrested but the non-white would.

I think some people that commit these acts have no brain and are happy without one but in saying this we must do something to prevent it from occurring the first place. There needs to be a system in place to teach the young ones respect and values.and how to resolve issues without violence.

You shouldn't shoot any human being. Their motive was escape, police have guns also, and arrest people and put them in cages for years.
Shooting anyone is serious, shooting a police isn't any more serious than shooting any other human.
