My 10 year old brother is being bullied and I don't know what to tell him of which he can say to get the bullies to leave him alone.

Every year, on halloween night, I see kids out there having fun, getting candy, dress up in cute costumes, You know what sucks, you look out the window, seeing kids having fun out there and you can't go out there yourself! Why? Because mother won't let you! Every year you cry, you can't have any fun at all, I ask mom why she won't let me go out, and get candy, and she's like "We're a Christian family, we don't celebrate it". I would tell her I'm not Christian, but she still won't let me go to parties, and dress up" Yes, It sucks. I know, I'm 17 now, and I still never went trick or treating, I would tell kids that, but everyone stares at me. They say, you suck, how could you not ever celebrate halloween, this is what being a kid is all about.!

I want to ask my mom, but I don't know how to persuade her. Am I too old for trick or treating, I don't want to miss out on all the fun. This is my last chance, to do this, to experience halloween for the first time!

Halloween, is usually the most boring day of the year, I wanna watch scary movies, but as long as mother in near the living room, I can't, and I have a 5 yr old in the house.

Man Life sucks, it really does. sometimes I wish I were born to better parents.

How can I persuade my mom to let me have fun and go trick or treating?!

I really wanted to use my parents names Mary and Alan as middle names for my baby. I still do not know if I am having a boy or girl, but the names I have come up with are:

Kaiya Mary Daveigh (Kaiya means forgiveness my parents arent thrilled im pregnant... and Ive always loved the name Daveigh, I think Davey would be a cute nickname)

and Im stuck between Dominick Alan or Donovan Alan.

Not that race matters but the baby will be mixed (black and white) I always think mixed children have such a unique look and I think that deserves unique names.

I am wondering if I should or should not get my daughter (8)vaccinated this year with the flu shot. Last year within a few hours after recieving the flu shot she was violenting throwing up. It lasted all night, every 15min intervals. She was so sick, I am afraid this was a side effect to the flu shot. I don't want her to go through that again, if this is how her body reacts to it. Should I take that chance? I certainly don't want her getting the flu either. Any advice, or info. would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I've been thinking about getting porcelain veneers, but I'm afraid they might be too expensive for me. I wouldn't mind getting composite veneers if they were cheaper...even if they are of lesser quality. I don't know much about them. Any information about procedure and cost would be helpful.

I was terribly lazy in college and did not file my tax returns as I did not make much money and didn't really worry about getting $100 back from Uncle Sam. I figure I should probably go ahead and get these done, but the oldest is from 5 years ago. How far back can I go to file these returns? I'm 24, and I'm married to an older man of 30. I'm pregnant and my husband and I have decided not to know the sex of the child until he/she is born.
If it's a boy, we would really like to name him Jacoby. I really love this name, and so does he. The only problem is, most of my friends are huge Boston Red Sox fans and single. They're all also madly in love with the rookie star outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury.
As much as I admire Ellsbury, I am NOT naming my baby after him. My husband has really liked that name even before Jacoby started playing with the red sox.
I don't want people to think that I'm naming my baby after a rookie outfielder, so what do you think about the name Jacoby?

I am using XP with Brother 1440 printer. I am trying to print UPS reports to the printer and its only printing stuff mirror image. I have checked all the options in UPS WorldShip and even uncheckmarked the mirror image box and its still printing the same way each time, mirrored. How can I fix this?
