so, last night i was supposed to meet the guy i [was] dating at the bar he was playing at but he never showed, called, nothing. he told me he would be there in 10 minutes. So I left after an hour of not hearing from him. 15 minutes after i left, he came in. then called me, but i refused to answer. then he called me [i answered] and apologized, and i thought everything was ok. i get a message from him this morning saying he is not playing games... he is done.

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? He was drunk and high last night. Doubt he was this morning.

Any way I can rememdy the situation before I face taking extreme measures?

If those of the anointed of are still alive at the time of the end when they will be caught away isn't that a rapture teaching (a rose by any other name smells as sweet so to speak, it's just nomenclature) and the only difference in the JW teaching and other Christian organizations' teaching is the number?

An oft-used AGW skeptic argument is that humans and SUVs weren't around hundreds of thousands of years ago to cause prior climate changes, therefore we can't be causing the current change.

Another skeptic recently commented that it's "an eye roller" to think that this is the first time climate change has been initiated by an "unnatural" cause (human GHG emissions).

The first argument is obviously illogical - the fact that humans have not caused climate change in the past does not mean we can't be causing it now.

The second argument puzzles me. The fact that our greenhouse gas emissions have been skyrocketing since the Inudstiral Revolution seems to me that they're a logical potential cause of the current climate change. The fact that according to natural cycles we should be in a cooling period right now, combined with the rapid acceleration in both human GHG emissions and global warming seems to make this an obvious candidate.

So why is this theory "an eye roller"?

I know that a lot of pro-life advocates would say that all abortion is wrong, under all circumstances and there is no such thing as "therapeutic abortion". I have a question though - why do all abortions get lumped into the same category? I work in health care, and every so often run into someone who had to have an abortion because either the life of the mother, or child, or both, was in danger. I know a lot of people might say the woman should not have become pregnant, but sometimes they find out about a major health problem after becoming pregnant. Why are women in this category with women who did it for personal reasons? Would you still consider someone on chemo or radiation or who might not live the full nine months it takes for a baby to be born to have had a "choice"?

So my boyfriend his stepdad and i went phesant hunting this morning with his German Short Haired Pointer, they've taken him a few times before and he did a realy really good job, today he did good for the first 30 mins. or so and got about 3 birds, but after that he wouldnt leave our sides, we thought it was becasue of the loud noise but he was no where near it. My boyfriend has a golden retriever puppy at home that is super close with the pointer. could the reason the dog not want to hunt be because he misses the puppy? ... we know its not cuz he was hungry or thirsty... he'd hunt on and off.. what happend?

My parents are gifting me $50,000 for down payment on a house. I they can give me $12,000 per year/each, but that we have to file form 709 with the IRS. But I would think that as the receiver I would have to file this form with my 1040, but from what I find in the internet, it would be my parents who file the 709. Anfy answers would be most appreciated.

If God intends everything to come out the way it does, why would YOU as a Christian have life or health insurance? Is that not trying to defeat GOD SWILL, sorry I put the space in the wrong place. Prayer is useless in that event since the outcome is planned. Oh, and what about the 10 MILLION babies that die each year (under age 5) doesn't that make GOD the biggest ABORTIONIST ever? !!

i have a 7pin connector. i did try this before with a vista OS it worked but recently i changed the OS to Windows XP version 2002. now when i connect the S-Video from the laptop to the TV nothing is comming up on the TV. i checked a website that said that i should press the keys Fn + F8 from my dell laptop to start viewing the laptop pictures on my TV. but nothing worked.
can someone please help me.
