The preacher was standing at the door as he always is to shake hands. He grabbed George by the hand and pulled him aside. The Pastor said to him, "You need to join the Army of the Lord!"

My friend replied, "I'm already in the Army of the Lord, Pastor."

The Pastor questioned, "How come I don't see you except at Christmas and your Anniversary?"

He whispered back, "I'm in the secret service."

I have Wes Welker, someone is offering to trade Clinton Portis for him.

Welker has more fantasy points and is one of Brady's favorite targets, although not a lot of TDs. Generally speaking I'd call Welker a tier 2 WR, however on the Patriots it's tier 1.

Portis just doesn't seem to be on track with the Redskins, don't know if it's the coaches or the team or ?

Would you make that trade?

God’s Word, the Bible, discusses God’s judgment and eternal Hell from beginning to end. In fact, the Bible tells us that most people who have ever lived will be there.
The wicked shall be turned into Hell, and all the nations that forget God. (Psalm 9:17)
And Jesus went about all Galilee teaching…(Matthew 4:23)… Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14)

If those of the anointed of are still alive at the time of the end when they will be caught away isn't that a rapture teaching (a rose by any other name smells as sweet so to speak, it's just nomenclature) and the only difference in the JW teaching and other Christian organizations' teaching is the number?

I read that a hangover is a chemical imbalance in which alcohol displaces salts and electrolites, or something like that.
For what I have read or seen, either gatorade or drinking serum are good hangover cures as they replace what was lost, which one of the two is best?, or is there something better?.

Please avoid stupid or superstitious responses such as "don't drink", or "try tacos"

and clothing on my taxes for my work. I am employed, not an independant contractor. I go to the location in my town twice a week, and travel 66 miles 3 days a week to another town. I don't stay over night though. My FA told me that I can claim my meals, and haircuts and clothing costs as an expense for tax deductions. I thought you could only claim meals if you stay overnight? Can I really claim my haircuts and clothing? I don't have a uniform, just a business casual dress code, and neat, kept appearance. Can someone clarify this for me? I already knew I can claim the mileage, but the other things threw me off.

The crowded cafeteria sported a large sign reading: "Watch Your Hat And Overcoat."

Ira sure did. He kept turning every minute, almost choking over his food. His pal, Barney, kept on eating, without thought of his own coat on the hook.

Finally Barney said, "Ira, you Schmuck...stop watching our overcoats."

"I'm only watching mine," replied Ira. "Your's has been gone for over half an hour."

Some prefer to preach the sort of " heaven and hell ' gospel inorder to present the Lord to others.

Others share from their own personal experience.

Some use the Word and just let people decide for themselves.

SO many ways. Which kind do you think turns people off and which way, in your own experience draws others to the Lord...
Be they backslidden believers or gospel friends here on Y!A

Ty for your input everyone:)
