I listen to what they are really saying and asking and where their hearts are and from what spirit they are speaking from. Then i ask the Holy Spirit to direct my response accordingly. My heart is heavy and weeps for all these who walk in darkness and deception, who believe in their own goodness and righteousness apart from Christ who is the only one who is good and righteous.
i must be one who turns people off because i have been called mentally ill, schizophrenic, a liar and have had questions that have been removed. for instance i said to unbelievers who question whether Jesus is who He said is to ask Father God by the power of His Holy Spirit to reveal this. "Someone" was offended. the truth is the Word and the revelation of our Messiah is made known by the Spirit of Truth to the seekers of the one and only Truth.
May the Father of ALL mercies continue to bless and protect you and fill you with His Word, the Manna that fell from Heaven. Shalom sister

I do it the way Jesus did...Way of the Master. If we look at the story of the woman by the well and the rich young man Jesus talked to...what did Jesus do? He always hit on the Ten Commandments. Jesus asked these people if they've kept the commandments. Some were wise and admitted that they haven't and they needed a savior. Jesus saw they were humbled and He forgave them thus issuing them eternal life. Others scoffed and were turned off. It didn't bother Jesus although I'm sure He was grieved inside. It doesn't matter what people think we're all law breakers whether we believe it or not. As a result we are damned to hell unless we repent. That is a tough message. People can be turned off by it now, but when they're being ripped apart and being burned in hell it'll be to late. They'll have to deal with that for eternity. Bottom line The Gospel Message is tough to hear, but those who are humbled and repent will receive eternal life. Broad is the way to hell and narrow is the way to life.
I don't believe in many ways to ways to present the Gospel, one ONE!
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. Ps. 19:7
Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Gal. 3:24
Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them. Rom. 2:15
But we know that the law is good if one uses it lawfully. 1 Tim. 1:8

I am yet to post a question presenting Christ. I find myself answering questions, well obviously, but I mean....I find myself looking for questions to answer concerning Him. I am a fim believer in the word of God and ANYTIME I refer to Him circumstancial or not, I try to back it with His word. His Word is unfailing as you know, so I figure as long as I use His word when sharing with others about Him....I can't go wrong.
I think people get most offended when you present them with a Heaven or Hell altimatum. Even though I know it to be the truth, people still get put off by it. I don't too much care, but sometimes you gotta know who to be tough with and who to be sensitive with.
I would prefer to give people the Word and let them choose for themselves. That's what Christ did. He gave everyone an option. You either believed His word or you didn't ya know. Just like the rich man and Lazarus. If they didn't believe Moses and the Prophets.....
Have a Blessed evening.

Hi Sandy,
I am on here for a threefold purpose. The first is to clear up any misunderstandings that some may have about Christ. Jesus is Lord. He is our Savior. He died on the Cross and shed his blood for us, and he is coming back.(John 3:16). I believe in Creation and not Evolution. I also believe in Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Secondly, I would like to educate R/S on the teachings of Seventh-day Adventism. It still saddens my heart at the number of professing Christian leaders who know and mis-understand Seventh-day Adventists. Adventist are strong dedicated caring Christians who honor the biblical Sabbath. Adventists are often falsely labeled as legalist because of their association with the true Sabbath. Adventists are hard working people in relief efforts around the world in some of the poorest nations. They are on the front line of Christian service. The good news today is that people in general are becoming more accepting of the teachings of Adventism as they take time to do a more careful and thoughtful research on the church's beliefs. Part of my effort on R/S is to enlighten those who have been in darkness and failed to do indepth research.
Thirdly, Friendship. Regardless of our beliefs, I believe we can all learn something from each other and realize that none of us know it all. At the end of the day, perhaps we will all discover that how we treat each other is more important than how we instruct each other.
Jesus, once said. That they will know that we are Christians by our love.
May God's Love(Agape') guide us.
John 13:35
Ty Sandy and keep on sharing.

I no longer do anything unless the Lord tells me too.
You can't force the word on anyone..it's not about "Not turning people on or off."
It's about Love. Some people will automatically reject it. Others won't. But you can't minister the gospel to someone to "appeal" to them. You do it as service to Christ and total love for him.
This is what I am learning now. Just sharing with my own experience.

Before I answer any question, I pray about it first. I seek the Holy Spirit's guidance. Sometimes, He guides me to share my personal testimony, or something I've been through that would be helpful to the asker. A lot of the questions I answer are posted by people who don't believe in God, and I try to just give scripture for my answer and let God's Word speak for itself like it says in Isaiah 55:11 - "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."
I don't believe anyone will be helped, whether it's questions on Religion & Spirituality, or any other topic unless we use compassion in our answers. As followers of Christ, we need to be examples of Him, and the example He set was love and compassion.
I believe sometimes people are turned off by lengthy answers, so I try to keep my answers brief, but to the point of answering their specific question. Again, it depends on what the Holy Spirit is leading me to do at the particular time.
God bless you sister! A wonderful question!

i think it is just by the questions and answers themselves.
they will always upset some, cause others to be confused,
and then some do get it. giving scriptures and the Bibles
we use i think helps alot. it is more about getting the
word out there that counts. then others can see the verses
and decide for themselves. that is planting the seed and
allowing the HOLY SPIRIT to work in their lives. it boost
Christians Spirit too. i know it has helped me!

Since I feel I have a personal, loving relationship with the Lord, that is what I like to convey to others. To miss out on this wonderful and loving Father, well......it is a shame. No other relationship like it on earth.

Is it wrong for me to say that I am not intentionally trying to draw other to the Lord. In all honesty, I come here because I have questions myself...and reading these questions/answers helps in my faith. If my questions/answers do the same in others, that is more reward then I could ask for.

Actions speak louder than words.
Be honest in your responses without being judgmental. Follow the words of your Prophet. Remember that there was only one Messiah... and that's not you.
Peace be with you.
