ok ok. I'm just kidding...... we're in the Milky Way Galaxy

jeez get it right people!! The milky way is a BARRED spiral galaxy..... not a plain ol regular spiral galaxy

Today we are in the milky way galaxy.
The Milky Way and Andromeda galaxy are on a collision course and in about 3 billion years they will collide. Then they will merge to form an elliptical galaxy.
