Is it a sin to wear thongs?

Not as long as you're wearing something over your thong when you're out in public. LOL! Funny question!

Like it is 'A Sin' to Drink any alcohol or smoke any kind cigarettes or Swear or have Sex other than for having children. GET REAL and let God decide what disqualifies one for Heaven for He has said that WE are Commanded to be Perfect. But any good Christian knows that being so is Impossible were it not for Repentance and the Atonement of Jesus Christ HIS Son. It all rests on our underlying Intentions behind anything we say or Do. AND He knows out Intentions !

I am a "fundie" as they like to say and I have worn nothing but for the last 18 years. Why would it be a sin?
Let me clarify that...I do wear other clothes, just not other types of underwear.
EDIT: sad_blue I am a Christian woman and no one knows what type of underwear I wear other than my husband. I wear them because I find them much more comfortable than other underwaer that give me "wedgies" and show a panty line. There is nothing sinful in my choice of undergarments and there is nothing sexual about them either, my husband would prefer them off.

The Bible talks about women being dressed modestly....there's no reason why you couldn't wear a thong....HOWEVER, most of the young girls that wear thongs nowadays, seem to take great delight in making sure their jeans are 6 inches lower than the top of their thong to "show it off". It not only looks ridiculous, but it's far from modest and is only being worn as a means to get men's attention......(sadly, it works).

God knows us down to our underwear.
Having said that, my ancestors did not wear underwear.
One insult they resorted to when an argument got out of hand was to moon their opponent.
My mom has lots of fun stories from the "old country"

Sure they can. If she's having a really daring day she can not wear any underpants at all. Meaningless as long as she is clothed.

yes,i believe it is.to deliberately wear clothing that shows off your body for the purpose of sexually enticing someone,is a sin.
anyway,why would a christian woman want to do such a thing?doesn't she have any self-respect?

It's not a sin but it's so uncomfortable that I prefer VPLs (visible panty lines). Why would I want to floss that particular area? It needs no flossing.
