I want to add some RAM, and want to know how much I've got and how many unused slots I have available. Going to control panel and device manager doesn't help. Maybe I'm looking right at it in device manager, but it doesn't explicitly name the chips that provide RAM.

I have an older Gateway w/ 1.8 GHz Pentium 4.

I welcome any advice.

I often hear it said that instead of infant adoption taking place, birthmothers should be encouraged to parent their children first to see if they can do it. The same people very often also advocate for foster to adopt, or at least foster care.
Ok, two questions.
1) Where do you think the children in foster care have come from? They are the result of people thinking they could be parents, but couldn't.
2) How many chances do you think a person is reasonably entitled to decide if they can be a parent? Do you really consider it fair to a child to disrupt their lives and attatchments for as long as necessary until a woman decides she wants to be a mother?

-I know who this man is
-He was very well known in the church and because of this, his crime was "covered"
-My mother was 16 at the time, she had no real support because my grandmother was also an important figure in the church and feared for her "reputation", so I believe the case went to, but was dropped or thrown out in court
-This was a RAPE, I also know of the potential witness/accomplice
-Can I get a DNA test taken now to prove he's the father? In doing this, can it be proven that he did committ the rape crime?
-Are there any attorneys that see potential in this situation and would like to assist me legally?
-There's also a church scandal that ties into this situation that went "public" in the 80's
-I don't have alot of money, but I do have alot of faith..and I feel that there may be some potential "recognition" here, if anything, for the attorney who can prove the crime and associated church scandal
-I'm being completely honest and hoping to seek justice for my mother

this story in the news, about a knife crime every 24 minutes
seems to me, as a bit of scare mongering
here are my calculations
60 minutes(1 hour)
divided by 24 minutes = 2.5 crimes
2.5 crimes x 24 hours in the day = 60 crimes a day
60 crimes a day x 365 days in the year
(not including leap years) = 21900
estimated population of uk 60,776,238
according to google
so 60,776,238 population divided by crimes in a year 21900
2775.1706 years till you are a victim of knife crime
also you may be a victim twice,
so every one is pretty safe i think
what are your views?

Prime Minister Stephen Harper will host the first-ever formal meeting between a Canadian prime minister and the Dalai Lama on Monday

When Harper was in opposition Bush went to war with Iraq and Harper jumped up and down because the government refused to go

When a war broke out with Lebenon and Israel Harper photocopied Bush's speech and read that as the Canadian position on the issue -

When Bush said global warming was a made up thing surprise surprise Harper said the same thing - Until he realised that the average Canadian voter would have none of it and has been trying to back off it ever since

Why is it Harper has to do everything Bush does - ?

And as an aside what the hell is wrong with the current opposition who could topple the government but won't ?

Religion wasn't crammed down my throat. Don't assume that every theist was just raised with religion all their life. sometimes it comes their belief comes later in life. So what was the extent of your religious upbringing? Is it a factor in your belief or lack of belief.

Here's some scenarios;
1. I was forced to go everyday, pray everyday, and religion was crammed up my butt everyday
2. Never was mentioned or talked about
3. We went sometimes
4. My parents went, but I wasn't required to go
5. I was exposed to a various kinds of religion.

If a law passed in the name of morality has immoral consequences, destroying the lives of those who made a youthful mistake, can the law truly be considered moral?

There are always unintended consequences and I think when we try to legislate from self-roughhouses we risk harm in ways that was never intended.

Christ taught that we will be judged on the same ground that we judge others. Isn’t this exactly what we risk when our laws make unreasonably harsh judgments that destroy lives?

I need a good, free dvd software that is user friendly.

NOTE: I have Nero, and it's messing with my system.
When I look at a *.dat file, I don't want to see "NeroShowTime.files7.dat". Other extension types and other stuff I haven't found yet are changed.
So, please....suggest anything good but Nero.
