I bought an emerson research clock, it sets itself, you can unpug it and it goes right back to the right time, if the power goes out, it saves all the data and goes right back to the right time and saves alarm settings. well the past two years it has set itself to daylight savings time a week early(which makes me an hour late by the time the alarm sounds). Is any one having any trouble, 'cause i think Emerson needs to do a little more research on this one.

I'm a social work major who plans on moving to the San Francisco Bay Area. I'll be a lot more competitive if I am bilingual Spanish speaking. At the age of 22, is it too late to start studying a foreign language?

I did 2 years of French in high school and have since forgotten most of what I learned.

One of my dogs accidentally bit me a few weeks ago, during a scuffle with another dog. It wasn't a really serious bite- definitely didn't require stitches and barely bled. It was, however, a bit deep. I treated it with triple anti biotic a few times but it never appeared to bad enough to seek medical attention.

There was bad bruising around it for a couple weeks afterwards. Now, the bites are pretty much healed (one was a little nip on my thumb, the other was an actual bite on my thigh). However, there are now "tough" lumps under where the wounds were- somewhat like the lumps that remain where a piercing once was. They're a little tender, but don't bother me by any means- they just feel like a bruise when I touch them firmly.

Is this normal of dog bite wounds? Like I said, they don't really bother me. I'd just like to know if I should be concerned. Neither bite ever showed any sign of infection.

I want to tidy up my finances. I have been contributing into my existing pension scheme for about seven years now, but before that (in previous employments) I had two other schemes.

I only have a vague understanding of the rules here and this is what I am hoping someone can help me with. Can I apply to have the money that's in these other funds transferred to my current fund? If so, how do I do it? Or is it a bad idea and I should leave everything where it is? (Why?)

One is a "Group Reflex Personal Pension Plan" with Scottish Equitable, the other is a "Group Money Purchase Scheme" with Scottish Widows.

I left both jobs within 6-12 months of starting to make contributions, and my salary wasn't up to much back then either, so we are not talking about massive amounts here - but it was my money and I paid it in, and I don't want to risk forgetting about it or losing it because I've left it too long.

Thanks!
