I need a new pair of glasses! What would a price range be if I got 50% off at Vision Works? I can't get a quote on their website. Any one been there lately?

I have no clue BUT I can give you some advice. Always compare apples to apples. By that I mean many times retail suppliers of eyeglasses do a pretty good job of marketing. One of the most used marketing tools is to offer 50% off of a price that is much too high in the first place. In these situations, the establishment fictitiously prices their glasses extremely high and just always promotes some type of discount. They never really sell their glasses for the highest listed price. That highest listed price is just there so they can give you a respectable price by giving a discount but at the same time making you THINK you are getting an awesome deal.

So, go in and price the glasses with their 50% off. Then write down the name of the frame and exactly what type lens and lens options they are quoting you. (Remember, not all "invisible" bifocals, scratch resistant coatings, etc are of equal quality and therefore "apples to apples") It is very easy to manipulate someone who is not well educated in regard to eyeglasses and quality products. Once you have compared apples to apples (this also includes the services the establishment includes with the eyeglasses such as warranties, etc) then you can make a well informed purchasing decision. Many times you may find that a private optometric practice actually provides a better eyewear value when looking at price, service, convenience, training and professional care. Hope this helped.

It would most likly depend on your prescription, what options you want on them, and what frame you choose.

Why don't you just go to an outlet of theirs, and ask them ?

It doesn't cost anything to find out a price before buying.
