I want to know what it is called in English when there is a number over a word. At the bottom of that page there is the meaning or explanation.

The numbers are superscripts and the explanations are notes.

The numbers merely indicate that there is a "footnote" at the bottom of the page. For example, if there's a number 2, it means it's the second footnote which explains something about what you've just read or gives the source of the information in the text.

Footnote

"A footnote (also bootnote[1]) is a note of text placed at the bottom of a page in a book or document. The note comments on and may cite a reference for part of the main body of text. A footnote is normally flagged by a superscript number following that portion of the text the note is in reference to."

If the explanation is given at the bottom (or "foot") of the page, they are called "footnotes". If they are given at the end of the book (or article), they are called "endnotes". There is no difference in their respective formats or the information they contain, "foot" and "end" merely pertains to the location of the note.

Those numbers indicate some important words in the contexts that you're reading. They are called "footnotes," for your information, which give additional clues and meanings on a particular word that's more likely uncommon. You can always find footnotes in bibles.

The statement or explanation at the bottom of the page is called a footnote. (ex: see footnote below)
