I want to take him to the vet, but I am between jobs at the moment and, while I can afford the 'office visit', I can't afford any type of diagnostics or treatments, if needed. Does anyone know of low cost veterinary care in southern California? Specifically Orange County. Thank you for your help.

Do I have peace in my heart right now?

I mean my dog of 11 years died in my arms (my only child) and then a short time later on 10-18-2007 my mom just died as I held her hand.

Last year I would of had no hope, maybe even wanted to kill myself, I would be drunk and angry and crying and lost without these two in my life.

Yet somehow I have this peace in my heart that I can't (or no one else) understand.

Where does this peace come from? It's not from me I was a very angry mad at the world person and loved them both very much. They were my everything and I lost them!

Give me an answer that makes since, how do I have peace right now , I just lost my mother?

My husband and I had a court house wearing the jeans wedding,well I DON"T regret the day that we got married and I would never leave him.I kinda do want a real wedding not the big puffy dress something simple something small but I also don't want the outdoor bbq wedding either.Our friends llike the "club" type like you know mixed drinks dance music and that kind of thing.Now of courst the parents would absolutaly flip.So what do you guys think I could do that would be a nice compromise?

my BEST FRIEND reeeaally likes this guy, but shes to afraid to talk to him. so she asked me to talk to him to see how he reacts. so far he bought me 2 gifts and really likes me. and i really like him. but my best friend would quite literaly kill me if i even so much as look at him anymore. (shes never like this, its a whole first crush thing going on with her, and shes nice otherwise) and i have not a clue what to do, help? (plus the guy is SUPER hot)

Are you somebody who is scared to talk to people cause your afraid of being slapped down? Or you worry alot about what other people think, say about you, or will do to you. Are you afraid of being humiliated or looking stupid? Do you avoid lots of people in general even if you already know them and they know you? Do you worry alot about how others will react to what you have to say? Are you afraid of not knowing what to say to someone, not knowing what to say to someone next after talking to someone about something else, or thinking you may not be able to answer someones question(s) correctly? Does just even thinking about these kinds things scare you? You thoughts and opinions on this if you would please.....

I know I was baptized when I was a baby, but I heard you should get baptized again when you're older.

I haven't been doing a good job in following Christ and I don't know if that should keep me from being baptized.

I'm 20 right now and I want to be baptized, but I'm confused as to when you should do it. How many times can someone be baptized? If you were baptized when you were a baby do you HAVE to be baptized again?

Do you have to get baptized when you know you're going to walk with Jesus Christ for the rest of your life? Or..when?

Do some teens get baptized because their parents forced them to? even if they haven't accepted Jesus fully into their hearts?

(I am not RELIGIOUS by the way, I don't like religion but I am SPIRITUAL... if that makes any sense. Meaning, I don't like going to church - I'd rather read the Bible and learn from that.)

I have a leather duster coat my friend wants and i want to give it to him for Christmas. The style of the duster is not made anymore and its slightly too short around the gut, but fits everywhere else. Is it possible to stretch leather just a bit?

My cousin went up to the roof, just to see how far she'd see. It was ok, but now she can't get off, because she is afraid (gets giddy).
She is just sitting up there, on the last step of the roof ladder and won't bulge. I told her not to be a baby, but come down, and she won't.
If I tell her grandmother (she lives with her grandmother who is my great grand aunt), she won't let her go to the school party next week, she said she would not go if she did something silly.
How can I get her off without telling no one, obviously?

Someone please explain to me WHY women EVER fought to work. It completley destroyed the economy and the society.
If women never worked things would be better because:
1) Unemployment rates would drop; hence taxes would lower
2) There would be no need for day care benefits; hence taxes would lower.
3) The divorce rate would drop.
4) Wages would be higher.
5) Crime rates would be lower because kids wouldnt be going home to an empty, parentless house every night.
6) Obesity would be lower because women would be cooking rather than picking up McDonalds three times a week.
....i just dont understand how the rest of the world sees this as a good thing?

Nurses, firefighters, doctors, and/or police officers do you assume that you are exempt from doing good things in your personal time? Do you think that your "Do Good" time is from when you punch into work and when you punch out?

Or hopefully, do you assume that your responsibilities to your community far surpasses your shift at work? Also do you feel more responible because of the work that you do?

Plus what is your take on "Frequent Flyers", compassion or annoyance?

Lots of questions I know, trying to save points.
