I have a leather duster coat my friend wants and i want to give it to him for Christmas. The style of the duster is not made anymore and its slightly too short around the gut, but fits everywhere else. Is it possible to stretch leather just a bit?

Fresh leather, yes; cured and tanned, no. It will tear. You might see if some trim, etc., could be added to make it look better in the fit.

yes, all leather stretches a little. Just one reason you should buy leather shoes a tiny bit narrower than normal.

in no way. purchase one that suits. in spite of footwear it incredibly isn't any longer good to purchase them smaller as a results of stretch. in the event that they the two don't extra healthful the time you attempt them on they are no longer working. i could be liable to no longer placed on something if I could desire to await it to stretch.

not really! depends on the thickness, but usually it just doesn't stretch that much.
