I work in retail and most of us are friends. So as we work we chat, so long as it doesn't interfere with our jobs. Well lately I was asked to train a new employee, she has been pulled into the office three times by HR. Apparently she's been told that if she continues to allow me to talk to her (outside of training) we could both lose our jobs. However, no one has said anything to me.

It seems to me that if I'm the one causing the problem that they would talk to me. Am I incorrect in assuming this?

Also before anyone suggests it, both of us usually finish our work well before the rest of the groups; and during cashier training we both kept a 90% speed rating for cranking out customers.

I just don't get it

anyone know the story of the rich guy and Lazarus?

-"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.' and so on...

now my question is, -while the rich man disurves hell and torment for what he has done- how can he be locked away in hell eternally while Lazarus was only tormented for lets say 40 years thats certainly not fair right?

Maybe you've heard this one.

One day, a Kindergarten teacher was giving a lesson about the six senses.
On this day, the kiddos were learning about the sense "Taste".
So for this experiement, the teacher brought a bag of different flavoured lollipops.
Each kid was blindfolded-and then given a lollipop.
The first one was grape...upon tasting it, immediately the kids shouted;
"Grape! Grape!"
"That's right! " Said the teacher, "My, you have strong senses"
The next one was orange. "Orange!" exclaimed the children
"Right again!"
Then came cherry, butterscotch, apple... And one by one in a row, the children got each correctly!
Finally came the last one...The teacher gave the kids a very interesting flavor (honey) But the children couldn't figure out what it was. After a minute the teacher finally said
"You guys seem to be having some difficulty...Here! I'll give you a hint! The name of this flavor, is a word your mommies and daddies call one another. "
Right at that moment.

and they are festering with disease and vermin. I don't know how to tell him that we don't want him to come over but we're really scared. Not for him, for ourselves because they barely fit through the door and he always wants us to prepare a delicious meal for him but we can't even enjoy it because his feet make us nauseous. Then he likes to put his feet up on the table after dinner and they eat all the leftovers. So my question is should we have a threesome with him? is it wrong because he's my uncle and all? ...oh no wait, the feet! Uh never mind. Other people have problems with their relatives feet but I really think they are trivial compared to ours. Only serious answers please.

I can't decide between purchasing a Glock 23 vs 30. This is my first handgun and ideally I should try them out but practically this won't be possible due to time constraints on my purchase permit and state laws.

I realize that placement is everything and plan on practicing at least once a week. That said, which would you recommend? **I want what will serve me best for self-defense** and will not be able to afford another gun for many years, however I don't mind paying a bit more for the cost of .40 ammo.

Also, I'm a guitar player and don't want to ruin my wrists shooting, if this would even be an issue. If it is not I'm slightly leaning toward the .45, but would appreciate some input.

Just today i started to having pelvic pain and in the last few days i think my belly has dropped. Today i was going to go for a nap and i went to get out of bed and could bearly walk i had so much pain and pressure and its still there when i walk, its like i have torn musles. What could this be?

He has since appologized and said he was having a bad day, but that he is less attracted to me than he was before we got married (I have gained about 20lbs). I have been super sad since he said it, and I am having a lot of trouble getting past it. I struggled with an eating disorder in high school, and had a relapse when we were first dating, so he knows that weight is a tough thing for me. Even though he said it wasn't meant to hurt me, its hard to believe he didn't know it would throw me off. How can I get passed this, both as a relationship problem (I have started to feel super insecure around him) and for myself (I have noticed dangerous eating habits coming back)? Thanks.
