My parents are divorced and both re-married. My dad threw a HUGE hissy fit when I told him that I wanted both he and my step-dad (who I've known since I was 12) to walk me down the aisle and told me that it had to be HIM to walk me down the aisle or he wouldn't come. He wasn't even okay with me walking down the aisle by myself. (They're financing $5,000 of the wedding, which is about half, so I have to humor them somewhat).

Because my dad is so self-centered, I know that he would want me to have the father/daughter dance with only him, and I don't want to hurt my step-dad's feelings even more than I already have. So if it were up to me, we would just skip the whole family dance thing all together.

The problem is this: my fiance is an only child, and it would break his mom's heart for her to not dance with him. I can't very well have only a mother/son dance, can I?

What should I do in this sticky situation? Any ideas are appreciated!

We got married when I was nineteen shortly after i found out i was pregnant with our daughter. He never asked me to marry him it was all arranged by his sister whe thought the baby needed her father in her life. I come from a single parent so I feel it is very important for a chilod to know both parents. I was in love with him at the time but after 12 yrs i am not so sure if it was the right thing to do. I have been very unhappy and lonely and am not sure how to tell him that i think that our mariage may have been a mistake. I asked foe a divorce seven years ago but agreed to try and make thing work but I don't feel things have gotten much better. Am I wrong to feel this way? Does anyone have any advice?

Since even Bill Maher gets yelled at by the fringe leftists for not believing the President was responsible for 9/11, I figure it won't be long before they blame the President for the wildfires.

I figure this will be their reasoning - President Bush wants to help the housing market and so all these burned down houses means new construction. That will help the economy.

Do you think something like this will show up soon?

So it seems like the 3-1-1 stands for:
3 oz items, 1 bag, items must fit in the bag.

So you can take more than 3 items?

Maybe it is not so much a question of how to mend a broken heart. But more of a question of "Where to go from here?" I'm your average guy, so to speak. I have a history of finding the wrong women to put into my life. I have had casual to serious relationships with nine women in the last ten years. I guess it comes down to the women I look for. I have been told I look for women "I can fix." And that does make sense to me now, I have looked for women with issues. If I find a woman with a few issues I do not have to worry about rejection. So I am left with only one option, go the opposite direction, which I am fine with. But where do I start? I don't party and I am not into the club scene. I work a lot sometimes so it is hard to find events to go to and meet people. I just don't know...

while I was taking biblical studies we were required to participate in church services (they would let me but I had to go any way) and when the preacher and worship team would get the desired reaction people would say they got the anointing .
well when ever I do a show I use my skills as a good show man and get the desired response and the cheers get louder as I go all out for the aduiance
worship teams and preachers use the same skills I use when doing a service as I do .
So could it be that You christians confuse anointing with good show man ship?

Everyday he cries that his feet hurt and his bones ache. His mother (I can hardly call her that, I'm shaking right now) refuses to take him to a doctor because a relative of hers had the same problems and now he is in a wheel chair. She says she can't stand to hear the doctor tell her that her little boy has the same problem! Can someone please tell me what this could be (she doesn't know the name of the illness) and what I could do to help out? Besides grabbing that woman's head and beating it against the wall?
