while I was taking biblical studies we were required to participate in church services (they would let me but I had to go any way) and when the preacher and worship team would get the desired reaction people would say they got the anointing .
well when ever I do a show I use my skills as a good show man and get the desired response and the cheers get louder as I go all out for the aduiance
worship teams and preachers use the same skills I use when doing a service as I do .
So could it be that You christians confuse anointing with good show man ship?

If you were ,anointed you wouldn't have to ask questions so obviously ignorant of God.

Obviously the preachers had let you down, and lied to you. You most certainly did not "get the anointing", if you had you wouldn't be stricken with such ignorance.

It certainly could just be showmanship. You are right to point this out. The big warning sign to look out for in any religious service of worship is whether a 'performance' is taking place. That could be with the preacher, the choir, the praise band, the people praying audibly - even those in the pews jumping around and exclaiming. If anything is done to be seen by others, to give them a good impression, it's not worship in spirit and in truth. We have to empty ourselves of self in order to receive from God, via his Spirit. A great deal that passes for 'the anointing' is not of God at all.

This is not an answer to you question.

It is a question. Your avatar's name is offensive, why do you use this? It causes one not to want to answer your questions.
