For the last 3 months, I have had memory loss and sensitivity to light and sounds. Most recently I have been getting headaches and blurred vision and a sense of not really being here, kind of like I am in my own little world. I really can't concentrate much and when I try to think, nothing really crosses my mind, it's just kind of a blank out. This all started happening when I started having back problems and my doctor told me my discs were shifting ever since I was little. Any ideas?

I have just come back from teaching abroad and need work - but am concerned about being able to get a police check. Any advice or experience to share? Any good agencies (or bad ones for that matter)
I live in the Midlands.
Thanks in advance.

We know that fire is the biproduct of the rapid decomposition of a substance, such as wood. We also know how to use it, classify it based on it's heat and color, and handle it. But, *what is it*? What does fire itself consist of? With sophisticated enough technology, could we theoretically capture fire particles, or condense them into a liquid or a solid? What are actual fire particles, or are there any particles? Even light consists of photons, and all energy is essentially matter on one level or another.

states are required to pay for public schools..economically it just makes sense you make more money with an education, also the state benefits from this, along with your community.

statistics show that with a highschool education you make about 4 times more money than without, and with a college education you make 3 times more money than a highschool education, so like 12 times more than no edcation.
If states pay for school up to highschool, why not pay for college? The only thing i can think of is that a state educated person might leave to another state but from a national perspective barely anyone educated in the united states leaves.
Why waste money on sports stadiums and other investments when you can diretly help a states citizens... also what business investment can pay back for itself 4 times over in about 2 decades almost guranteed?
college costs 20k min 40k max highschool salery 45k college salary 90k through income taxes alone it would pay back for itself in abou 6y?

Okay my husband and I just got married last June and since then its been very rocky...We are both very young.. I am 20 and he is 24 and his step father killed himself last Nov. his mother has been heavily on drugs before his step father killed himself but she got even worse after his death... She was on crack and cocaine... shes made my life a living hell... Shes in rehab right now and we are stuck raising her 15 year old son... We just bought a house together and I pictured this little fairy tale like everyone does... But the little brother is so bad... he curses us out and he seems to have so much anger inside... I try to set the punishment for him to actually learn and husband never follows through with the punishment... Mother in law always needs something from us... we had to move all of her stuff into our house and its full of her stuff and I am scared shes going to try to move in once she gets out... Husband keeps telling me shes not... I live in fear and I am tired of dealing..

The Doctors can't figure it out. It happened to my Grandmother as well (at 70). I wondered if the return of my period had anything to do (strange as it sounds) with my mini Italian Greyhound being in heat and sleeping in my bed. Her mensus blood got on the sheets for a few nights and it was quite messy. It got on me too. I washed everything, but still her hormones touched my skin for several days. So I might have had a dermal hormonal infusion from the dog. Does that sound plausible?
You do hear of women living under one roof getting their periods all at the same time. But does this apply to dogs as well?

i have a 91 firebird i just recently had the 305 rebuilt and i added a couple of preformance parts to the car to get a little more out of it

( eldbrock pre. intake, holley 5.7L throttle body w/regulator and spacer, new radiator, high flow water pump, mach underdrive pulleys, shorty headers, msd distributor and blaster coil pack, plus wires, 160 thermostat and hypertech chip, i also put a shift kit in my 700r4 tranny, and a new remaned starter.)

i just recently put all the parts into or on the engine and put everything back together and when the moment of truth came around... i turned the key and nothing happened??? starter didnt engage i didnt hear the fuel pump nothing... it made me so made i spent $4500 and now it doesnt even work. all the wires to the starter are wired back corretly one from the battery 2 from the terminal next to the battery a purple wire from the gear selector to make sure the care is in park, none of the fuses are blowen i replaced the fuel pump relay.

I am an 86 year old man and my girlfriend is just 22. Although our sex life is great and we have some pretty wild games of chess, I'm beginning to get a little tired of her increasingly odd behaviour. Last week she used her fur lined handcuffs to tie me to my Zimmer frame and now she's talking about wanting a threesome with me and another of her girlfriends. I think this is going too far and I'm worried that she is just using me for sex. Am I being unreasonable?

If a SSgt. in the Air Force encountered a Lt. in the Civil Air Patrol, would the SSgt. be required to salute the Lt. and call him 'Sir'? I wasn't sure if someone in the Civil Air Patrol would really be considered a superior of someone in the actual Air Force, since (even though he has a rank) the Lt. is actually a civilian.

Also, then, would the two be allowed to socialize off base, at a restaurant or the like?

If there are any further details that would be needed for an accurate answer, please let me know and I will provide them as quickly as possible.

Also I don't know how I am going to spell the first name. Please tell my which spelling you like better out of these three: Juliet, Juliett, or Juliette. Thanks so much.

Ok, I am looking for baby girl names, she is due in January, but I am trying to have a name picked out before the baby shower.
I am being pressured mostly by my mother, because she feels that I should choose a biblical name, with a great meaning.
I feel that I can choose a non biblical name with a good meaning.
I'm looking for a name that my daughter will not have difficulty getting a job, will not have to spell 3 or 4 times, and one that she won't get teased.
Please help! So far I like Madison...that's the only name I keep thinking of.
Any suggestions? Thanks

I don't laugh a lot. What is my problem?
I mean I don't laugh out loud. I know when something's funny and I appreciate it but not very often do I laugh. I guess I should say not as much as other people or not as much as I like. I do laugh but never very hard or long. I guess I chuckle more than anything.

Why does my college Student President (a feminist) refuse to engage the position of a "men's officer" when the same person supports & promotes the already existing position of "Women's officer"?
(these positions are basically 'officers' to give focused attention to their position (women's, minorities, etc.), so a men's officer could focus on helping men avoid false rape accusations, encountering intimate partner violence, discussing child birth options, family courts, etc. etc.)

It seems to me, that men would have something very worth while to engage in this - yet the feminists at my college have stated to clearly they will not even consider it.

Where is men's equality again..?

I'm just wondering because I'm Catholic and some people are like I hate Catholic people and are like Eww I would never be Catholic! It seems like a lot of the Atheists on here were once Catholic and then turned Atheist! Why is this? I think Catholicism is a great religion and I don't see why many people hate it so much!

No offense meant to anyone. These person are dear to me but that is the personality they portray. One is actually my mom who I love dearly.
