The Doctors can't figure it out. It happened to my Grandmother as well (at 70). I wondered if the return of my period had anything to do (strange as it sounds) with my mini Italian Greyhound being in heat and sleeping in my bed. Her mensus blood got on the sheets for a few nights and it was quite messy. It got on me too. I washed everything, but still her hormones touched my skin for several days. So I might have had a dermal hormonal infusion from the dog. Does that sound plausible?
You do hear of women living under one roof getting their periods all at the same time. But does this apply to dogs as well?

I wondered why this was in the dog section..

I kinda experienced the same thing a few years back.. except Im not menopaused. I was on Seasonale birth control.. the kind where you only have your period every 3 months. I had started bleeding off and on about mid-way thru my pack. I bled off and on for about a month. At the time, I had a female who had just come into season. I questioned if it was possible that we were "syncing" turns out tho, my body had gotton used to the pills and my hormone levels were messing up as a result. AS soon as I stopped the pills, my problems stopped.. I have been around females in heat and have never had problems again.

You should go see your Dr or Gyno and get checked out, there may be some problems going on.

Getting your dog spayed will prevent stains on the sheets.

I wish it replaced into your dogs inflicting this yet getting your era after 7 years at 60 isn't a reliable sign. each and all of the girls i comprehend who experienced this had to have a hysterectomy. circulate and notice your Dr immediately. Your dogs has not something to do with this. the quicker you examine it out the extra clever yet be arranged. i'm not saying this to scare you yet to take action immediately.

No, your dog is a different species, there would be no chance of hormonal osmosis from a dog.

Peroxide works well to clean your sheets. apply it to the stains.
