Why does my college Student President (a feminist) refuse to engage the position of a "men's officer" when the same person supports & promotes the already existing position of "Women's officer"?
(these positions are basically 'officers' to give focused attention to their position (women's, minorities, etc.), so a men's officer could focus on helping men avoid false rape accusations, encountering intimate partner violence, discussing child birth options, family courts, etc. etc.)
It seems to me, that men would have something very worth while to engage in this - yet the feminists at my college have stated to clearly they will not even consider it.
Where is men's equality again..?

Zikiru, I can't help the fact that when I see feminists in a position of power, they abuse it to the detriment of men. All I want, is some equality - and it is a feminist denying it, just like Patricia Hewett was found guilty of sexual discrimination (politician in England), NOW.org, etc.
I know feminists in 'normal everyday life', and some are great people, yes!!! But, for an example, my ex's mother falsely accused her husband (during divorce) of meddling with their daughter... it ruined my ex's relationship to her father.. Again, a normal person - until she had an opportunity to express power - and BOOM, she went over the top. It SEEMS like a typical situation: Feminist = ok until opportuntiy comes along.

Zikiru:
a) She is a feminist by claim.
b) She is also the women's officer (pretty obvious a feminist position)
c) She went on endlessly about how much worse women have it and didn't even attempt to discuss the points I'd put foward.
d) She referred to feminist organisations (fawcett & womensaid) for doctored studies (literally, not my opinion - these were studies taken from BCS and 'filtered for ease of reading')
e) She referred to "white male privilige" and the ususual claim that I was unaware of it - while giving no mention to female privilige...
I think it's safe to say - she's a feminist.

If you had an astronaut suite, and a rocket, and a license and could supply the credentials to show you had been in space, etc. Then I would have to believe you were indeed an astronaut. I've applied the same logic to the feminist Student President...

This is one person and you need to get together a group to protest her position as being biased.
This needs to be addressed as she should not be allowed to hold the office.
however if she protested due to a valid concern not having a plan, course of action or even people to run this group, you will need to have it all ready to launch to show the powers that be that you are serious.

The reason that you are experiencing this with the feminist at you college is this mathwassh. The fight! , they can not take the side of the enemy now can they? no because that would actually bring about a common ground if they started to actually see that we both have issues that relate. in that the fight would diminish and by god they cant have that. See it really is not about equality, it is about the fight on men and that is all it is about plain and simple. when ever they bring up a issue , who is the problem in the issue they bring up? is it women? or is it that there are differences between us and perhaps we both should look at both sides? ahhh no not from what i have ever seen , it is always men are the bad guy and women is the victim. not only is it a lie but it is actually a means for women to use as a reason for there bad behavior and even a excuse to do bad things. if a women attacks a man he had it coming, if a man attacks a women he is just another *** whole sexist pig man.
let me give yet another exsample, take sexual harrassment for instance. the sexual harrassment laws in and of them selves are a good thing and a good idea to protect all from being harrast and discriminated aganst, however, the laws as writen are veuge and the punishment is not consistent for both genders. the truth of it is this, in a case one can make huge cash from damages of the eleged crime and the accused finds him self in a problem that he realy has no deffence for. why should some women who clames to have been hurassed be awarded thousands and even hundreds of thusands of dollars for that? shouldnt the accused if found gilty just be punished and then life gose on? why the big god damn pay off? makes you wonder dont it.

You have to realize one thing. Feminists hide behind their 'equality' if they make it sound like they are for equality no one will bother them. But it's not even for equality. They don't want women to be oppressed anymore (and fail to realize that we women folk are no longer oppressed, but are in fact oppressing the men folk), and for female supremacy. Anything that benefits a women and hurts a man is great for a feminist.

You should look up the story from Windsor ON Canada where a man was appointed head of some sort in a womens shelter. The feminists came flying out of the woodwork and screamed that it was inappropriate for a man to be head of a womens shelter. No thought about the fact that he was more qualified, more experienced, more suitable for the job. IT JUST HAD TO BE A WOMAN. What kind of crap is that?
Here you go, found the link.

Your point is valid. Equality isn't just for minorities and "protected classes".
However, I might point out that if the position of "Mens Officer" were ever commissioned the duties would probably include running fantasy football leagues, organizing beer pong tournaments, ordering kegs of beer, as well as being commissioner of the schools softball league.
I'm just sayin...

I seriously doubt that college men will need any help like that. But when women outrank men in the student body the world over, we really don't need Women's Officers. We should create a Student Relations Officer who will deal with both women's and men's issues.

Some people can never quite rid themselves of Their gender bias. Positions of power are often given to persons whose perseptions are altered by the experiences of life.

Who said feminism is about equality? Feminism is about selective equality and special treatment to women. It is written in big bold letters on a banner in front of the feminism headquarters. I think you are very naïve and have never visited the place.

Read some of Erin Pizzey's books, she was victimized by these people, even received death threats against her and her family.
Oh, yes, she has the feminista well figured out.
@Rebel F - Sorry love I've downthumbed you instead of upthumbing you. Just clumsy. (Adjust your points accordingly!)
