For a long time, I've wanted to teach as an adjunct professor on a part-time basis. I'd like for someone with experience in this area to tell me, based on my description of my situation, whether this sounds like a realistic option for me.

I have an M.S. in Computer Engineering, and I've worked for five years as a full-time software engineer. I have no formal teaching experience. My goal to become an adjunct professor is more for personal fulfillment than for money or advancement, so I don't care about what it pays or whether the position is prestigious. However, since I intend to continue my full-time job, I would only be available for teaching night classes. If I got to pick, I would prefer to teach a class in programming or computer engineering.

So, does that sound reasonable? Or is there no demand for people in my circumstances?

My fiancee and I have been engaged for a while, with no date set yet. Last year, his mother and her boyfriend told us that they already have our wedding present: the honeymoon. But not just any honeymoon. She recently bought a timeshare in Las Vegas, and with the timeshare got a pack of coupons for free trips to other timeshares around the world.

Since then, she and my fiancee have become estranged for unrelated reasons, and they recently have been talking to each other occasionally, just small talk. But if the honeymoon comes up again, how do you tell someone you don't want their gift?

Frankly, I want out honeymoon to be special, and not stressful. I don't want to go to some unknown timeshare property of unknown quality. I don't want the possibility of being subjected to a sales pitch as part of the free vacation. I'd rather go on a cruise or rent a house in the mountains.

There is a waitress at a diner I go to a lot and she does flirting joking around with me and even gave me a nickname from our joking , there is something she does that I caught her doing again tonight when I was there and she brings it up , she makes comments that she is fat and she is not even close to fat she has a great body and everytime she brings up the fat comments to me I have to look at her body and tell her what are you nuts you look great or don't worry I will tell you when your fat , she has done this numerous times tonight it just got me thinking why the hell does she keep doing this and she also mentioned tonight something about a dress she wore 2 months ago that I told her she looked like a knock out in back then..What do you girls think this girl is thinking???

If I wanted to introduce a friend to the "Stargate" saga, can anyone recommend the exact chronological order of ALL the Stargate movies and television shows so that every detail of the story makes sense from beginning to end?? (For example; watching "Stargate SG-1:season 8" before watching "Stargate-Atlantis-season 1", etc...)
Also, can anyone tell me for sure that "Stargate-SG 1" has been completely cancelled after only 10 seasons or, is there any chance of a season 11??

ok,so ive been dating my GF for 11 months now...and i'll say it like it is, i dont like going from girl to girl. If im dating someone then i can see myself with them in the future. We'll her parents dont know about us yet, but they will not approve when they find out because of cultural differences (my folks dont care). When we talk on the phone she gets paranoid that someone may be listening and says stuff like "we cant get caught or im going to have to break up with u." I hate that, I want her to say something like "i cant get caught or else im going to have to go through hell, but we'll always be together." She says she cant assure me that, she says its hard for her and tells me to plan for both the best and the worst. Its seems to me that this relationship is like a ticking bomb, when her folks find out.BAM..its over, and i hate that nor do i want to be apart of a relationship like that. why is it that i have never fallen in love or no one has ever fallen in love with me? i've always wondered what it felt to love/be loved...to feel butterflies in u'r stomach, to constantly think of that special someone, and all the 'symptoms' of falling in love......

enrolled into a master's program and passed/completed all required major and elective courses for the degree, but did not get it, because I was disqualified and kicked out for not maintaining a 3.0 GPA by my last quarter. I had a 2.85. My grades were all B's, except 3 C's that I got. I am truly bummed, and my administrators in the program are not going to let me reenroll to fix my GPA. They are firm in their stance. I've done several variations on resume.
