I've been a CD person for my entire life but now I'm thinking that getting an iPod would help me get all of my music together into one place. I know this is true but I'm worried about the quality of the music. Also, once I get an iPod I'd like a home system that really helps me listen to the iPod with the best quality. What’s the story on new technology and iPods?

I have a fridge/freezer where the freezer is on top of the fridge in a separate. Ever since I bought the fridge I have noticed that it makes everything inside it soaking wet. I have tried it on several different temperature settings and nothing works. However, if you place things up against the back of the fridge they will freeze where they've been in contact with all the water running down the back of the fridge.
Finally (and you'll have to mind my ignorance here) there is a hole (maybe a drain?) on the top right of the back wall of the fridge and in the few months I've had the freezer it's gone brown and now there are brown stains around it.
I'd rather see if I can sort this myself rather than take it back or call in a repair man as I am a bit strapped for cash. The freezer is pretty full so if there's a solution that involves not having to defrost the freezer (I'm very clueless about these things!) that would be preferable too.
Thank you very much, any help is appreciated, I would like to stop having to throw away wet cheese and fruit and veg!

A dedicated union worker was attending a convention in Kalgoorlie , Western Australia and decided to check out the local brothels. When he got to the first one, he asked the Madam, "Is this a union house?"

"No," she replied, "I'm sorry it isn't."

"Well, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"

"The house gets $80 and the girls get $20," she answered

Offended at such unfair dealings, the union man stomped off down the street in search of a more equitable, hopefully unionized shop. His search continued until finally he reached a brothel where the Madam responded, "Why yes sir, this is a union house.

We observe all union rules."

The man asked, "And if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?" "The girls get $80 and the house gets $20."

"That's more like it!" the union man said.
He handed the Madam $100, looked around the room, and pointed to a stunningly attractive blonde.

"I'd like her," he said.

"I'm sure you would, sir," said the Madam. Then she gestured to a
92-year old woman in the corner, "but Ethel here has 67 years seniority and according to union rules, she's next."

1st woman: Hi! My name is Wanda.

2nd woman: Hi! I'm Sylvia. How'd you die?

1st woman: I froze to death.

2nd woman: How horrible!

1st woman: It wasn't so bad. After I quit shaking from the cold,

I began to get warm & sleepy, and finally died a peaceful death.
What about you?

2nd woman: I died of a massive heart attack. I suspected that my
husband was cheating, so I came home early to catch him, but
instead, I found him all by himself in the den watching TV.

1st woman: So, what happened?

2nd woman: I was so sure there was another woman there somewhere
that I started running all over the house looking. I ran up into the
attic and searched, and down into the basement. Then I went through
every closet and checked under all the beds. I kept this up until I had
looked everywhere, and finally, I became so exhausted that I just
keeled over with a heart attack and died.

1st woman: Too bad you didn't look in the freezer. We'd both still
be alive...

We work in two different departments and I see him occasionaly when he comes up to my floor. I feel like I am sooooo infatuated by him, like, this is the biggest crush I have ever had in my life. My heart skips a beat when he comes around and I can't breathe when he is close to me. I just want to reach out and stroke him, just one nice looooonnnng time. When he is talking to me, I just want to kiss him and start making out right then and there. He was sitting very closely behind me the other day rocking his leg and it was tapping my azz. It was driving me crazy so I slid up. I'm not sure if he knows that I like him yet but I want to make it known to him very soon. He asked when was the next time that I worked and it just so happens that I'm on the same schedule as him. Somebody please tell me... What do I do?

I am a first grade teacher getting married in June (after school is out). I really want a flower girl in my wedding. I am wondering if it would be appropriate to ask the parents of one of my students if their daughter can be in my wedding. I am concerned that it might seem unprofessional. I am also concerned that it might be seen as favoritism or cause jealousy among the other girls in my class (although, since the wedding isn't until school is out, I think the parents and I could keep it a secret from the flower girl until the school year is over -- that would greatly minimize the chance of other kids finding out or being jealous).

I do have one other option. My cousin has a little girl who will be about 2 1/2 or 3 in June. The downsides are that she is rather young and I have only met her twice, so it wouldn't be quite as meaningful to me to have her in the wedding.

What do you think?

I'm a learner of English Language.

I was watching the video podcast, CNN Student News,
I found a phrase I couldn't understand. Could you put this sentence into another setence or paraphrase it?

"The scores are in for the class of 2007"

What is the meaning of "the scores are in"?

The whole passage is like this:

AZUZ: Switching gears now, it's the three letters that can strike fear into the hearts of students: SAT. It's not the only college entrance exam, but it's still the biggest. The scores are in for the class of 2007, and the numbers are down, but not by much. Average scores on all three sections of the test dropped from the previous year....
