if someone i loved died tragically and i believed in god i would be cursing him.
personally i don't believe in god - i do however think there is some form of existence after death just as i think we existed before we were born .
when i have lost those i loved i preferred to think they had moved on - a new adventure or maybe just going home.
either way they are beyond the suffering

God's plan for us [ learnt through bible study] is for us NEVER to die.
Otherwise, why would He have promised an end to death.
(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

The Bible, HIS book, considers death an enemy. not p[art of any natural system.
(1 Corinthians 15:26) As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.

God in the O/T did take lives, but only of those who refused to obey Him.

And who were attackinbg His chosen people.

(Isaiah 37:36) And the angel of Jehovah proceeded to go forth and strike down a hundred and eighty-five thousand in the camp of the As·syr′i·ans. When people rose up early in the morning, why, there all of them were dead carcasses.

A fair warning to us all.

When you and your children are the ones left behind after a tragic death,it is very hard to praise God.Instead one has to pray for help to endure pain of loss & help to cope with daily life.

I suppose that the younger they were and the more suffering was involved would indicate higher levels of praise to God.

Yes, we should praise God for taking that person in His care. We should praise God through good AND bad.

It doesn't means we should not grieve or feel bad though. But in our hearts, we should remind ourselve s that God is in control and that everything well be all right.

I just generally celebrate when people die for the most part.... No god involved; just a cleansing of stupidity from the gene-pool.

I tend not to be so enthusiastic when smart folks die, but they're kinda rare anyway.

No because that is life, there is no deity, god, sky fairy or whatever responsible for such actions
