I don't hail from any religion in particular, but they all interest me. I was in a hotel and picked up a bible and it was written that god imprisoned satan for being evil, i guess. It seemed strange to me that god would imprison him for such a short time and let him out to run a muck again. Any thoughts from our christian section?

Ok - the last time I used a turn table was about 23 yrs ago so I can't remember the name of the little circlar "disk" that went fit inside the record hole to make it fit the turn table. There was also one that fit onto the turn table (as opposed to the actual record).

I need the names of these do I can search for one on Ebay....I have some old records I want to play for my kids (9 & 3 - never seen a record!!) but they're 45's & don't fit the turn table.

the house was built in 1952 all cast iron washing machine and k/sink is leeking under the house fixed 2 years ago with plumbers dope butt the problem just got biger cracs and holes in pips and cloging i cant get under the house to old need to know how much to spend befor i call for a plumber thanks.

when you are making a balance statement or a general ledger or journal in accouting, what do you call the foods which you were not able to sell that day and would probably be spoiled already the next day?do you include that in the ending inventory or not?can you call it a loss?or simply left over food?

I am 23 now, I have been thinking what to do with my life. The thing I love the most is helping people, I have worked at prisons, and even a boot camp for juveniles. I also serve in the us army in the field artillery, as target acquisition. I have always dreamed of getting an M.D. However I know that is very hard to obtain that title. I am not dreaming, or saying this after a show of grey's anatomy. Now I am a criminal justice major in college. The closest thing to science I have taken was philosophy. I am aware that I would have to take at least biology, maintain a good GPA. I also am aware of how competitive med schools are, and how they look at certain credentials, i.e. MCAT scores, volunteer work, researching, etc. I know all about dedication, and commitment; for that is what it takes to get into, and to succeed in med school. I have dealt with a lot of adversity in the military, especially being a combat MOS. Thank you for your appreciating my aspiration, and notions

Why did they go with this design? Why not a more conventional helmet? Wouldn't the soldiers' ability to hear be diminished with this style of helmet?

I just tested the "Caboodles" makeup case called "the Goddess" with MASSIVE amounts of lead in it! Got the test from Lowe's and it was extremely easy to use.

I am just shocked that when I took it back, I tested another one which they had there and it was even a DARKER RED!

Why isn't the Government doing it's job by making sure that merchandise which comes from other countries is safe? Why don't they start spending money on Consumer safety people instead of Iraq?!?

Due to the immense pollution, everyone loses hair. Same goes for me...but hair fall has increased drastically for the last 1 month...& it is quite severe...
whenever I touch my hair, some hairs would definitely fall off...
can you suggest me with some herbal tips or so???

This group of people will not stop. I have nothing against gays. But I am straight. They are afraid to get close to me. They fear I might attack them in the bathroom. If they are not talking to God, who are they talking to? Are they just reciting words, like a Rosary? Is that really 'prayer' or recitation?

I was just wondering about it, how is it that wind begins somewhere in the oceans, i mean what gives air the movement to create wind? I know that winds go in different directions and so they constantly circulate pushing the other currents so that they keep on going, but what is it that created the motion in the first place? the Earth's position?, something to do with the north and south poles?.......

...Why does he allow Satan to exist at all?

He created Satan, didn't he? After the angel rebelled, why didn't this god just cause him to cease to exist?

Hell, why didn't he make it so Lucifer had never existed in the first place? No Devil, no sin, right?

Why did he give the evilest of all beings access to the world he created as well as his own kingdom where he can torture this god's own children, whom he supposedly loves?

Why go through all the trouble of sending a representation of yourself down to earth to get people to believe what you want them to and not go to Hell, instead of just, oh I don't know, blinking Hell out of existance altogether?

Why did the Christian god create evil and allow it free reign if he wants us to be good, happy, and safe?

Either he can't destroy Lucifer, which means he's not perfect and all powerful, or he is unwilling to do so, which means he, for some reason, wants us to suffer.

Why are we supposed to worship this god, again?

My girlfriend hadnt talked to me for over 2 months cause i was away. We finaly saw each other and it wasnt what i expected. she just ignored me for another month and a half. i talked to her once about 4 weeks ago and it was as if that time hadnt passed, but we havent talked since. we see each other constantly, i approached her that one time, but she hasnt approached me yet. does this open a door for me, or not? what do you think?
