Hi-Fi amplifiers?

Can anyone reccomend a good but fairly cheap amplifer, my plan is to,

get an RCA cable with the 3.5mm jack into my PC sound card and the phono leads into an amplifier, then connect my Hi-Fi speakers to the amp.

As far as i know there:

Panasonic 100watt(MUSIC) @ 6 ohms each (Speakers.)

What do our brains do after we have 6 dreams each last 20min?

Ok , people say that we sleep 8 hours and i watched a tv show once , it say that we have roughly 4 to 6 dreams per sleep and each dream last 10 to 20min so i calculate the time we to have 6 dreams each last 20min . That gave me 120min which means 2hours and we slept 8hours so i am wondering what do our brains do after we have 2hours of dreams?

How do I disable an idiot light?

The e-brake idiot light on my winter rat stays on when the brake is disengaged.
I've pulled the wire (just one wire, btw), which clips into the side of the switch, but the light is still on. I tried grounding the wire, no luck. I can't pull the fuse without disabling the other lights, and pulling the bulb would require dismantling the dash. Can any gearheads help me?

The car is a '92 Buick Century.

Do you know how to eat fish without fattening sauces that are healthy ?

I know I need to eat more fish, and I don't eat any, mainly because I don't like plain fish and I like it with fattening sauces, anyone have any ideas as for my health now I really need to eat it. I want to eat it, I already take salmon oil.

If there is only primer on sheetrock, is it ok to go back & add more coats of spackle to correct someones work

The person who lived here before me did a HORRIBLE job spackling.

I can fix this by adding 2 more coats of mud, but the walls are already primered.

Is it ok to spackle on top of primered sheetrock?

I am trying to avoid having to sand away many walls full of primer.

Is it ok to do this?

Christmas Start Too Early?

I usually cringe seeing the first tinseley bling and jingle on television ads from the middle of October onwards. I don't hate Christmas Day, I just despise the commercial band-wagon that infiltrates the tradition. Does anyone else feel like this? The stress of shopping among other stressed shoppers (who don't want to be there anyway), the high street charity-guy/beggar surge,thinking you have more cash to divulge their way, the endless campaign of fashionable must-have items, the persistent stupidity of a drunken idiot? Is it not too much too soon?

Ferret-proofing my kitchen/laundry area????

i need some advice from ferret owners on methods that have work for you when it comes to ferret proofing your kitchen. In the rental house i live i have a small kitchen and then a space attached for my washer and dryer which for some reason doesn't have a door in front of it. (For now i have temporarily ferret-proof everything by stuffing towels tightly into every hole they could possible find to crawl into). I was thinking about getting a children's gate to the entrance of my kitchen, but didn't know if that would actually work since one of my ferrets is a semi-good climber. any advice would be appreciated. thanks!

How can I tell whether my tomatillos are ripe?

I grew them out of curiosity, but I haven't ever seen a ripe tomatillo - should I wait for the 'cover' to wither, or pluck them when they reach a certain size or color?

Is an ex-Atheist an apostate from a non-religion?

My first question after giving a gazzillion answers.
I am an ex-Atheist since 1983. Would an atheist consider me an apostate even though I apostatized from a non-religion?
