Somebody answered a question of mine with this and I have to say I had a giggle as it did strike a chord after some of the things I have read . . .

"If ignorance had a headquarters, it would be right here on Yahoo! Answers"

I agree to a point but this would be the case for any site where such an array of people post questions and answers. I have read some extremely good answers but then again I have read some that are very ill informed.

I believe people have a right to their opinions but they should never force their views on another person. I must admit what does grate on me is when people start attacking others for their spelling etc. As long as you can read the answer and understand the point the person is trying to make why the need to try to belittle them.

There is a lot of ignorance on this site, however, a statement like that only confirms the assertion because it is based on an awfully broad generalization. There is also a lot of intelligent, erudite answers that are insightful and inspiring.

LMAO! That's good, but it's only partly true.

There are lots of intelligent questions and answers here, the trick is sorting them out from the other kind, lol.

Cheers :-)

Yep and it would be sandwiched between the "stupidity" and the "spite" departments.

But it`s not all so bad. I laugh a lot on YA too. Just not on News and Events.
