That's illegal, sexual harassment. To let it go is to invite even more harassment. Talk to your boss about it. It's your boss' job to deal with. Don't be emotional, or unprofessional in any way -prove you are worthy of the promotion you want. You cannot please everyone, and "the guys" aren't going to sign your paycheck.
Also, observe how your boss handles this, you may need to know in the future.
Review your organization's sexual harassment policy and use the language in the policy to discuss this with your boss. If your boss seems weak in this area, tell him you would like an example of how he handles this kind of problem for when you are promoted. He might just have the guys read the policy for themselves so they know what they are facing, and what they have done.

Wow- I'm a gay dude and apalled that gay people would do that. But I can see it happening as many gays' have a thing of "not liking straight people." If they are afraid to get close to you, let them. You have a job to do and if someone is that scared, then maybe they shouldn't be doing that job. As for reporting it, I don't know. Maybe try confronting the issue first with the guys that do this. If you do, do that, have a neutral witness be there so they can't turn around and make up stories. Or if you have the strength, tell em to leave you alone and wait it out. Remember though, pick the path that will leave you the most happy. Getting a promotion but hating the job may not be worth it. Gotta love what you do and the people around you!

Holy smoke, this sounds like "reverse discrimination"!! How would these people feel if someone did something like that to them? If possible, keep cool about it, maybe laugh it off. They are looking for a bad reaction from you and if you don't supply it you will have defused the situation. Sounds very "junior high" to me.
As with any group of bullies, try to determine who this group's ring leader is and try to document every incident of prankish behavior directed at you or anyone else they may go after. If you can make the head bully look like the nitwit he/she is the group will stop following that person's lead and the gang will break up.
If these people are as childish as you have described, they don't sound like very good workers. Eventually their job performance will suffer and then, when you are their boss, you can get rid of them because they are lousy employees.
Remember: "Revenge is a dish best eaten cold". Bide your time, keep your cool and your sense of humor. Then, when you are their boss...POUNCE!

Report it to your immediate supervisor or the head of HR as sexual harassment. Too bad you didn't take pix of it when it happened. Companies do not take sexual harassment lightly these days and you can get a lot of $$$ for it. If it happens again, use your cellphone cam or go to HR and bring them out to make a report on it in person. You have a right to work without being harassed and it sounds like someone knows you may be their supervisor soon and is trying to make trouble. STICK IN THERE! Don't let them make your life rough. There are laws about this.

Personally, I'd be taking the doll everywhere with me for a while... give it a name, and thank them for their consideration. Start sending thank you cards etc in the name of the doll.
Let them know that you really don't care (unless of course, you do). I don't know where you're from, but in Australia, this sort of behaviour could seriously jeopardise their jobs. Why not ask them out for drinks, and ask them why they've done this?

This question like you is stupid. If it is true, then you are gay and hiding it. But it's not, you made it up. Hence you are still gay and are stupid to boot.

You should report it to your local police, it could be perceived as a hate crime. Also, wait it out, then make their lives hell.
