I do not have a normal place of work like an office. Normally, I go to one home then back to mine. Occasionally, I go from one home to another to another in an afternoon. If I'm able to deduct mileage, how do I document that?

where one of the ureters meets the kidney, it is dilated. He said that this could cause reflux of the urine back into the kidney...he will keep a watch on this and if needed the baby may require treatment at birth. Is there a name for this? Is it common? Is it associated with down syndrome or any other disorder? Please just give me some more information about what may be going on?

Red tide spreads distress by air
By Elizabeth Weise, USA TODAY
A toxic algae bloom that has been lingering along the southwest coast of Florida since December has poisoned large numbers of fish, killed as many as 45 endangered manatee and may turn out to be more hazardous to people than previously believed.

Dr. Barbara Kirkpatrick tests lifeguard Scott Ruberg to learn if the red-tide-toxin is having an effect on his lungs.
Fla. Red Tide Research Team

Because they are frequently reddish-brown, red tide is the colloquial name for several types of microscopic algae that sometimes bloom near coasts.

These blooms are age-old. Some believe the first of the 10 plagues of Egypt described in the Bible was a red tide: "... and all the waters that were in the river turned to blood. And the fish that were in the river died, and the water stank."

The algae, called Karenia brevis, produces a poison called a brevetoxin. Though not deadly, it can cause neurotoxic shellfish poisoning in people who eat contaminated fish and asthma-like symptoms in those who breathe in the odorless toxic particles that can blow off the waves up to 1 mile inland.

Once a year, the K. brevis population undergoes an explosion for reasons scientists can't explain. The number of the creatures can go from 1,000 in a liter of ocean water to more than 1 million.

"At times you go to the beach and you just open the door of the car in the parking lot and you start coughing," says Barbara Kirkpatrick, a scientist at the Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota, Fla. Brevetoxin can cause teary eyes, congestion and coughing in healthy people up to 1 mile from shore.

Kirkpatrick has found that it's more dangerous to those with asthma and obstructive lung diseases, causing slightly lowered lung capacity.

Still, no warning is generally given to beachgoers when a red tide is present. Florida's West Coast is a popular tourist destination." For a while it was (covering) a good part of southwest Florida. It wasn't like people could drive to another location. It's dissipating now," says Allison Bozarth of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute.

Red-tide updates can be found at the group's Web site, www.floridamarine.org

Christ died for our sins and killed no one

Muhammed laid seige to Mecca, rounded everyone up and gave them a choice, become Muslim or have your head chopped off by the sword

one of these is quite clearly a message of peace

and the other one is a tactic designed at obtaining peace through fear

muslims please feel free to discuss my errors if any

but as it stands, if i had to pick a peaceful religion based on the two above

guess which one i would pick?

I've heard that if you take apart a drill (DeWalt, Makita) from one of the big box retailers and compare it to the exact same drill from the manufacturer, you will be surprised with the quality differance. Is there any truth to this or is it all hogwash?

The first time my sister got married I was 15 and she made me her maid of honor. I'm her only sister. She got married again, to her new husband, and didn't choose me as her maid of honor. She picked her friend. She also chose her friend's kids to be the flower girl and ring bearer, not my kids or my brother's kids. I was really hurt, and so was my sister in law, (about her kids not being chosen. We felt like she could have had more than one flower girl/ring bearer.) I know it's her wedding, but it still hurt. My question is, if I ever get married, would it be catty to not pick her as my maid of honor? I was her's the first time. Any thoughts?

Never lie to your Mother---Brian invited his mother over for dinner. During the course of the meal, Brian's mother couldn't help but notice how beautiful was Jennifer, Brian's roommate. Brian's Mom had long been suspicious of a relationship between Brian and Jennifer, and this had only made her more curious. Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Brian and Jennifer than met the eye. Reading his mom's thoughts, Brian volunteered, "I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you Jennifer and I am only roommates." About a week later, Jennifer said to Brian, "Since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find my beautiful silver gravy ladle. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" Brian said, "Well, I doubt it, but I'll send her an e-mail just to be sure." Therefore, he sat down and wrote: "Dear Mom: I'm not saying that you 'did' take the gravy ladle from the house, I'm not saying that you 'did not' take

I have a son of six, and yesterday he came home with homework of a religious background.

Now I'm too not bothered about my child being told about these storys in his education, but today i wen't into school to discuss this with them and what i find out was disgusting, they get the children to sing songs of a religious nature, whole wide world in my hands etc, they are also taught that these storys are true and real life events, I'm not a religious person and i do not want my child to be exposed to fairy tales storys and lead to believe that they did happen, was i wrong to go in to the school and express to them that i do not want my child educated in this manner and that it was for the church do to not a school, and if it continue's that i will be taking my child out of main stream education, this teacher told me i was wrong and would be depriving my child of the truth and education.

I'm wrong?

I put a tampon in as usual and it felt weird going in, but I didn't think anything about it. Well when it was time to take it out there was no string to be found so I just thought it had fallen out and I didn't realize it. Then a couple days later I started to smell a foul odor from down there, so I stuck my finger in and I can feel it WAY BACK in there, but I can not get a hold of it. Will it fall out on its own and if so how long will that take. I am just really embarressed that it happened in the first place that I do not want to go to the doctor and just want to know if it will come out. Only serios answers please, I already know how stupid this is, I don't need supid comments. Thanks
