I just got a job at Cracker Barrel and I need to get an oxford cloth shirt. I have no idea what that is or where to find one. I know it is a buttoned down collared shirt but will the tag actually say "oxford" on it pertaining to the fabric like cotton or polyester says on some shirts or is oxford a namebrand or another word for another fabric? Please help thanks

I went into the site to have some fun. They all talk about stealing their best friends girl, if they should color their hair, etc. They can't spell either. I felt really out of it. Have any of you had the same experience?

My best friend's husband has just broken up with her via text message! this is no joke! he didn't have the maturity or decency to walk the block to her parents house to tell her in person or even call and tell her verbally over the phone- he won't accept her calls either. they've been married for almost 4 years - & were married in the lds temple (ie. for time & eternity). How can someone throw that away so easily? He's refused councelling & doesn't seem to want to do anything towards a reconcilliation. my friend sat down with the bishop (church leader) & her husband was asked to come along & discuss their problems- he REFUSED!!! so my friend had to speak to the bishop alone.
Do you have some advice or words of comfort for my friend?

I multiply this chocolate cookie recipe X8 (that probably doesn't matter).
I've been making this same recipe for 1 year. It's always been the right consistency. Yet last 2X it just came out too mushy. (Actually, same thing happened one other time a month ago)

Theories: 1)I packed the brown sugar too much
2)The weather was too hot or muggy

Money is no option

I'm looking for a very LAID BACK vacation on a BEAUTIFUL island with white sand beaches. No tourists and nightlife for me. I'd like to stay in a luxurious hotel where I can rest and relax. I'd also like to maybe spend time on a sailboat, maybe see a waterfall.

Last night I asked this question on the USA board so thought I'd ask everyone else now.

Yesterday I saw a picture of a child beauty queen in a ballgown and full make up, peroxide blonde hair, aged 7 years old. Do any of you find that quite vile? I do.

I am not talking about kids painting their faces for fun or trying on their mum's (or dad's, for that matter) make-up while dressing up to play. I'm on about unfortunate children who don't get to be children, because their pathetic stage parents have them modelling from the time they can walk.

Am I the only one sickened by this?
