There should be certain kinds of censorship, especially with all the unmoral things on the TV and radio now. The Government needs to step in and cleanse the filth and bring back family friendly media.
Also the Government needs to keep close tabs on news and news shows. The amount of falsehoods being shown is unbelieveable. What if Al-Queida saw some of this? They would see America as being weak and divided. They should only see one thing. A single voice showing support for the war on terror.

seems a broad question:
Yeah - I'm against censorship. But I'm also against bad information and stupidity.
There are a million books on politics out there, most of which will leave you more confused about a subject. Usually they present facts and then try and explain how those facts fit their opinions.
However, opinions should stem from facts... not the other way around. So often you'll see that people will use the craziest facts to make their point. For instance, the Bible was used to support slavery.
However, it is the very first known book to abolish slavery. It is in fact a sin for Jew to hold another Jew in permant bondage, and it is never condoned in the New Testiment.
So no, I'm not against censorship, but I think we should be careful as a people what we take in as fact and what we don't.
As the first Surgeon General of the USA, Benjiman Rush Said, "“Liberty without virtue would be no blessing to us”

Censorship is an erosion of freedoms. There is too much of that going on with the laws the fed. government has passed lately, in the name of "national security"

Censorship should be used sparingly. For example if someone is advocating violent revolution its a problem. Many people who advocate censorship would love to prevent nudity.
Its ironic that many of these people don't object to bloody, gory slasher films unless a young lady is running along with her boobies bobbling, bobbling, bobbling down a spooky forested path. Ironic I say!

Sex and profanity should be the same as alcohol. Wait until you are 21 to have your fill. In public, there must be limits.

Against, I can make my own decisions. It is with differing opinions that may be adverse to our own, or even objectionable, that we can all make better decisions.
